AU blog! I'll be designing Catified designs as well as simple designs that can be used in Multi Animator Projects! I will design characters in the order they appear beginning with Duel Monsters and working my way up. Manga exclusive characters will be done after all other characters for that series. Also doing artwork and taking asks/doodle requests!

12. Serenity Wheeler/Shizuka Kawai

Shizuka was fun to draw! I love drawing pretty cats man! Drawing her markings made me want to update Jonouchi a little though since his design is so plain in comparison lmao.

11. Maxamillion Pegasus/Pegasus J. Crawford

Funny story I actually lost the pen I usually draw with right before I started Pegasus so I had to learn a new pen that REFUSED to calibrate so working on him was a TIME. That being said I was really looking forward to drawing Pegasus because I had a vibe in mind that I was excited to get done. His face gave me a few problems but I think I'm happy with it now, also wanted the white and dark gray to feather out a little (since his name is Pegasus).

10. Mokuba Kaiba

Drew Mokuba pointed just like Kaiba, this time more black/blue instead of chocolate. His design was also pretty straight forward so there realy isn't anything to add haha!

9. Yami Yugi

I have no idea what it is about Yami that makes him so inherently difficult to draw but WHATEVER he's DONE. Because Yami's design is essentially just Yugi's but spikey there's not really anything to say design wise, I do think giving Yugi's design light grey on his eyelids was a good call though because it looks really good on Yami.

8. Hobson/Daimon

Sketching this guy made me hate EVERYTHING about living life but halfway through lining I started having a bit of fun. I'm glad I got a character like Daimon early on because it's already pushing me out of my anime pretty boy comfort zone. Also got forced to draw a lot of shapes I don't usually draw.

7. Solomon Muto/Muto Sugoroku

Loved drawing Sugoroku for this, mustaches on cats are fun to draw. Wanted his colors to be a little warmer than Yugi's pallet. When I first drew him, I didn't include his overalls because I thought they looked awkward but then 1. I remembered that there was a reason he wears them in the first place and 2. If Pantomimer gets pants then god dammit so does Sugoroku.

6. Seto Kaiba

I was SUPER excited to draw Kaiba because I was super sold on making him pointed from the get go. HOWEVER this excitement quickly turned to dread as I finished the base and moved on to the coat of nightmares. That damn thing took so long... Don't really have a reason for wanting him to be pointed I just thought it was neat. His face was hard to decide on but I ended up going with markings that looked like the shadow created by his hair.

5. Bakura Ryou

I had SO MUCH fun designing Ryou! I knew from the get-go I wanted him to be a fluffy cat with softer features. As I was cleaning up the sketch, I had the idea to give him folded ears that lifted up when Yami Bakura is in control. Hands down my best big brain moment so far. I was also planning on making him a solid white cat but it wasn't looking right so I gave him some soft shading to contrast his face/back from his hair. Made it a point to give him a little pink heart nose because he's BABY.

4. Téa Gardner/Mizaki Anzu

LOVED drawing Anzu for this au. Chocolates are my favorite colors to work with. It was also fun to work with straighter lines on her hair and tail. I was originally gonna make her the first tabby but the colors I picked ended up being too close together so I just gave her a lighter chest, belly, and face markings.

3. Tristan Taylor/Honda Hiroto

Honda's design presented a challenge with how I was gonna make his hair look right with his ears beside it, but I think I pulled it off! I quickly realised that he was gonna look really similar to Junouchi marking wise so I added the darker fur on his nack and added a dark accent to his tail.

2. Joey Wheeler/Junouchi Katsuya

Junouchi's design was actually really fun despite it's simplicity. His expression, hair, and tail were fun to line and I like how the tufts of fur on his body turned out. Don't really have a reason for the nicked ear, I just thought it was neat.

1. Yugi Muto

I had a good idea for Yugi from the word go. Of course, I can't think of much to say about how I designed him because he was so straight forward. All the colors are straight from his regular color pallet except for the gray I used for accents. Originally his paws were also purple but it didn't look right so I made them gray as well, tail was colored to match his hair.
