The Brenchians! Except now, they’re colored in.
🩵 ♥️ ❤️
Here’s an OC! She’s gonna return in a future project.
And to all of the users on here who understand Madeleine Cookie’s character… I think y’all are neat!
It can be a little bothersome when a character gets heavily misinterpreted by the fandom. Feels refreshing when people go in depth about them, including their flaws and positive traits.
The Brenchians!
This is a genuine question, but have Espresso and Madeleine had any friendly interactions? I think there was one holiday update, but other than that, it comes off as Madeleine bothering Espresso Cookie in the official media.
Do you think any of the Z-fighters would listen to Michael Jackson and/or Janet Jackson?
Or what character in the Dragon Ball franchise do you think would love their music?
This is gonna be my last thought on Bulma, Vegeta and Yamcha altogether.
I hear people say how Vegeta saw Bulma being stubborn as admirable, and Yamcha saw that as a flaw. It’s often used as a way to prop a character up over the other.
It’s nice that Vegeta loves her for that (I’m pretty sure there’s a line in Super about him liking her ‘feistiness’). It’s also nice that they didn’t take away her stubbornness as the series continued.
But that’s the thing: Saiyans like strong-willed women, so her personality didn’t affect him like it did to Yamcha as a human.
Between Yamcha and Bulma, I don’t think her being strong-willed was an issue; it’s because it had a negative impact on their relationship that it became a problem at the time.
I guess what I’m trying to say is it doesn’t feel right to evaluate Vegeta and Yamcha based on this because there’s other factors to explain why things did or didn’t work. Also, just because Vegeta was fine and could ‘keep up’, doesn’t mean it was acceptable for Yamcha to endure that.
On another note, why did Yamcha and Bulma’s relationship have to end through cheating? It was their first relationship, so it could’ve been explained by them falling out naturally. But to resort to cheating feels really weird.
I’m a bit skeptic that Yamcha would do that to Bulma, given their history and how she did those exact things while together. I know the author confirmed it, which essentially makes it true, but it still seems so out of character for him to do that.
From a narrative standpoint, instead of Yamcha becoming a joke, I wish his character could have been used as a way to tell the audience that it’s okay to have limits/recognize your limits. Even if you lose your spark or don’t do well in one area, you can shine and excel in another one. (In this instance, Yamcha steering away from fighting and gravitating towards baseball).
Here’s some pictures from the choose-your-own-adventure that I’m working on!
Basically, Dragon Ball 98 is a fan-series where certain characters never became soldiers under Frieza. You’ll get to see what their life might look like if they never became villains.
This is a special side story within the series. In it, you’re playing as Jeice, and he became a baseball player for his planet. He left some equipment in his friend’s home, and your job is to help him find them all.
Multiple routes are currently in the works, and the ending you get is determined by how many pieces of equipment you collect.
I have a headcanon that Madeleine Cookie likes to write poetry; he’s better expressing his thoughts and emotions when writing.
This gave me a new idea for a costume! It’s called ‘The Pen Is Mightier than the Sword,’ and it has Madeleine Cookie in a casual outfit holding a pencil and a book!
The pen symbolizes a sword, and the book symbolizes a shield.
I think it’s nice when knight archetypes are recognized as people who also need to be protected. Like they’re gonna do their best to defend everyone, and receive the same level of comfort, protection, and love that they give to others.
Another idea for my CRK x Witch’s Castle AU:
• Grand Madeleine Cookie and her three sisters are also in the story, but there’s a catch.
• The three sisters can be found inside the Witch of Light’s castle, working as both housekeepers and security.
• One day, they have an encounter with Grand Madeleine and eventually become a found family, where they all see her as their sister too.
Some more ideas for the CRK x Witch’s Castle AU:
• The Witch of Light will still be living in the castle at the beginning of the story. Inside, there are knights to protect her and the castle grounds. They are known as the ‘First Paladins’, led by their knight commander. The commander in question is an OC, whereas Madeleine Cookie’s counterpart will be found somewhere else.
• Eclair Cookie’s human counterpart continues to busy himself with collecting relics, and goes on a series of adventures to ‘write down in the history books!’
• Latte Cookie and Espresso Cookie’s human counterparts are very close friends, and are accompanied by a few other OCs, who have nicknamed themselves ‘The Coffee Tribe’, after their love and appreciation for the different variations of the beverage.
• Cream Unicorn Cookie’s counterpart lives in an old-fashioned carnival, bringing joy and happiness to the humans who enter the park. Their favorite place to go is the carousel.
On the topic of the CRK x Witch’s Castle AU, here were some more things I was thinking about:
• A look into the Witch of Light’s early life before deciding to start creating the Cookies.
• The other First Witches before they became Cookies.
• Certain characters from CRK who were once human, however, because of certain circumstances, were reincarnated/reborn as Cookies. (Here were some that I wanted to include):
- Espresso Cookie
- Latte Cookie
- Eclair Cookie
- Madeleine Cookie
- Cream Unicorn Cookie
- More might be added later, along with some OCs.
• To follow up with the third bullet-point, the Cookie’s human-counterparts won’t have the exact kind of lives that they do in-game. There will be parallels, but new backstories will be made.
I have an idea for a Cookie Run Kingdom AU that ties in with The Witch’s Castle, but I’m not sure if it would end up working out.
The concept of the AU is that it looks into the life of the Witch of Light before she came up with the idea of creating the Cookies (and what led up to her deciding to do so).
There would also be other humans and entities (outside of the Witches and Wizards) existing before the creation of the Cookies.
The last idea is that certain characters from CRK may have also first been humans/human-like that were transformed into Cookies outside of the First Witches. (Three characters that I thought about including were Latte, Espresso, and Madeleine.)
I might post more thoughts about the AU soon!
This is a random post, but I feel like a lot of the hate Madeleine Cookie gets is for stuff that happened earlier on in the game (e.g. costume party scene with Strawberry Crepe), or for things he’s been shown to work on/ grow past (selfishness, superiority-complex, etc.)
He seems like he’s experienced a lot of growth and development while retaining his confidence and enthusiasm, which can be difficult to balance out with his character archetype. But people still hyper focus on his faults, or mischaracterize him in general.
I’m taking this way too seriously, but it’s something I’ve noticed with this specific character amongst others in the franchise.
