REQUIREMENTS:
Your blog MUST be able to be tagged using the at symbol.
I (and your partner) must be able to MESSAGE and DM you for any reason. AKA Messages Turned On.
You and your partner must stay in constant communication and update each other on what's going on. No more silent treatment.
I will reach out several times throughout this process and make sure communication is happening. You must show me that you've read and understood my messages/pokes even if it's just a emoiji or an ok.
If you or your partner can not fufill your side of the trade then reach out ASAP so I can figure out what to do.
Do NOT ghost your partner.
MAKE SURE ART IS READY ON DUE DATE
Follow this blog.
If these aren't followed to the best of your ability, I will be blocking you from further art trades until we speak about it.
If you did not turn in last wave's art trades - you aren't allowed to join this art trade wave.
I can't allow people who can't finish their side of the trade to join in this wave. Your partner deserves their side of the art trade and they've worked hard on their side for you.

Rules are simple:
1. Speak to your pair and get to know each other
2. Look at each other’s art so expectation is known
3. Discuss what level you want (sketches, colored, inked etc)
4. Discuss what things your partner are comfortable with (don’t force people to draw ships if they don’t support that particular one.)
5. Have the art done by the deadline.
6. Post your art on your tumblr tagging me, your partner. Then add the tag: CATS Art Trade 2025.
This is your general rule / expectation list:
1. All art must be related to CATS the musical in some way.
2. Ask your partner what they are comfortable with: OC, Canon, Broadway Only, 2019 Cats etc
3. Ask your partner if they are ok with shipping or pairings
4. OC’s are ok as long as your partner is ok and willing to draw them.
⸻
Art Expectations:
1. Take more than 5 minutes to make it.
2. Put effort into it (everyone’s level of art is different so that will look different for everyone but please no random stick figures unless that’s what your partner asked for).
3. It’s up to the artist on whether or not it’s colored/penciled/inked. (The art trades I grew up doing were inked and colored so do with that what you will.) However, do discuss between the two of you so you know what to expect.
4. Once finished you will post your artwork to your blog tagging your partner and me (@robingurl), this blog (@catsarttrade) then using the tag “CATS Art Trade 2025” so others can see it. (And of course any other cat tag that’s necessary for the art to get out to the fandom!)
