THE COMMUNITY FAN FIC COLLAB

hello people of the internet. do you want to be in a danisnotonfire/amazingphil video?! ..well either way now is your chance!

those of you who have read our book ‘the amazing book is not on fire’ #spon will know that (SPOILER WARNING) in it we each write a piece of dan and phil fan fiction. yup. i wrote an angsty vampire au called ‘the urge’ and phil.. phil wrote a thing called ‘the hand’. in the audiobook version we decided to each actually narrate our own fan fics and this inspired us to make something special together as a community.

we want to upload videos of us narrating our dan and phil fan fics - accompanied by YOUR ARTWORK! that is right. 

here’s how this works. open up your copy of TABINOF or listen to the audiobook at 3:48:25 (track 62) for ‘the urge’ and 3:57:52 (track 63) for ‘the hand’ and pick a moment in a story to illustrate. there are no rules on what this can or can’t be! a beautiful digital drawing, a terrible photoshop, a pasta collage, a lego recreation - in whatever style or way you are inspired just represent a particular moment from our stories and submit them here: submit art for ‘the urge’ (dan’s fan fic)

make sure to say which line of the story you are submitting in the description! you have from now until this sunday the 6th to submit your images and everyone we pick will be credited in the video description.

and don’t be scared! you may not think you’re a great artist but that’s okay, even if you submit something intentionally horrendous we need loads of images. we can unfortunately only pick one image to represent each moment and we do want to tell the whole stories from start to finish so know we may not use your art, but we will see and appreciate every submission! it’s worth noting you will be much more likely to make it into the final videos if you choose a less-obvious part of the story such as the buildup rather than the climax. finally please make sure you are the original creator of the images you submit.
