Hello!! At first what theme do you talking about? The programmatically way to do that is using media queries: https://www.w3schools.com/cssref/css3_pr_mediaquery.asp. But it isn’t a lot easy to do... Maybe I can do that for you, depending on which theme we are talking.

Hello, I recently downloaded one of your grid themes, "Back to grid". It's a beautiful theme, very classy. Thank you! Unfortunately, i've run into some issues. In the preview, even though the pictures (posts) are of different sizes, they start right after the other vertically. It's all very compact. I love that! But in my blog, (please visit it once to check), the posts are in different lines, they're not one after the other and have a lot of white spaces in between. How do I rectify this?

Hello dear! I think maybe you've put some wrong code, tested it on another blog and it's all normal. If you install it again I think it's fine.
