Iām sorry, but this is the most underrated Aziraphale smile. Heās gorgeous.
Crowley and Aziraphale doodles

There is an unfinished piece by Sir Thomas Lawrence in which most of his process is visible. I find it very fascinating, so I tried the same thing with the lovely Ineffables in his style :)
*In the end I actually reconstructed his workflow after painting everything in because we donāt work the same way. What a perverse thing to do...*
Incorrect Good Omens [24/?]
Itās been one helluva year (understatement). Soooo⦠letās start the next year how we mean to go on⦠posting ridiculous andĀ āincorrectā edits of these two idiots⦠whom I adore.
Happy New Year everyone āØš„³ššāØ
Regency Aziraphale and Crowley in the style of Ingresās portrait drawings.
I remember copying Ingres at school was gruelling but equally rewarding. It usually involved hours at the Met drawing room with a magnifier. Each one of his lines is expressive, and every edge is finely controlled. An Ingres copy wouldnāt have the feel of the original at all if itās not done this carefully with a SHAAARP pencil on very smooth paper. (Ironically, not Ingres paper...)
I took out the same magnifier and all the Ingres catalogues I could find at my place for this drawing too... The struggle is real (?)
Ingres style Regency Aziraphale. Of course I must give him a Garrick coat. Itās so winglike. I also read that Ingres would dine with his sitters to observe their most natural behaviour, so Iāve made the angel look as if heās just had a nice lunch :D
*Self-indulgent detail: I wrote a very tiny question mark next to āpurveyor of books,ā because I think someone as fiercely perceptive as Ingres would be able to tell at least a little bit that Aziraphale is not really a bookseller...
Elizabethan Aziraphale and Crowley in the style of the 16th century miniaturist Nicholas Hilliard. Hilliard didnāt like chiascuro, or any sort of shadow really, which makes getting the resemblance quite hard. The lockets are genuine pieces I pulled from museum websites for mock-up only.
Aziraphaleās inscription: Si tabula daretur digna animum mallem. It translates to āif one could but paint his mind.ā
Crowleyās inscription: Alget, qui non ardet. It translates to āhe becomes cold who does not burn.ā
gingerlizzard on twitter made a gorgeous kissing gif and I wanted to try my hand at animating a kiss tooĀ
Aziraphale is wounded and left to die. Crowley finds him and is distressed, and of course tries to patch him up, but Az is pretty far into shock at this point and canāt figure out what the dear snusband is getting so worked up over. So he tries deliriously to boss Crow around while Crow is doing his best to keep Az from bleeding out.
Idk this was an idea I floated to @10yrsyart, and scribbled out. Itās a bit of a departure from my regular style, idk if I like it, but I think it get the point across.
yāall got the fluff and now itās time for the angst, bless Fireflyās works š¤§šššš
