K-POP Legends (1/???) DONG BANG SHIN KI (동방신기, Rising Gods Of The East)
Formed by S.M. Entertainment in 2003, TVXQ began as a five-member boy band that rose to international prominence in the late 2000s, after the group achieved critical acclaim in the Korean music industry for their best-selling albums “O”-Jung.Ban.Hap. (2006) and Mirotic (2008). Selling over 10 million records in the first 10 years of their career, TVXQ have become one of Asia’s most successful music acts of their generation. They are often referred to as “Asia’s Stars” and the “Kings of K-pop" for their immense success and contributions to the Hallyu. According to the Oricon, TVXQ have the most number-one singles for a foreign artist, and is Japan’s best-selling foreign music act in CD singles of all time. Their Time Tour, one of the highest-grossing concert tours of 2013, is the highest-attended concert tour held by a foreign music act in Japan. With the tour, the duo became the first non-Japanese Asian artists to headline a nationwide five-Dome tour, and were the first foreign artists to perform in the Nissan Stadium. Billboard has described the group as "K-pop royalty”.

[TRANS] SMTOWN OSAKA 170715 – BIGEAST Staff Report (Day 1)
Yunho’s first stage in Japan after 2 years!!
Everyone in Bigeast, good evening!
Today “SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR Ⅵ IN JAPAN” was held at Osaka Kyocera Dome!! The least we can say is that all of you in Bigeast had been waiting for so long for him, and Yunho came back on stage in Japan~♪ Everyone, you’ve always, always been waiting for this day right! And of course, your feelings have been conveyed to Yunho as well.
That’s why Yunho was extremely nervous thinking of standing on this stage again after such a long time. Since morning today he’s listened non-stop to the songs he was going to sing and raised his tension, in order to get rid of that anxiety.
Today’s highest temperature in Osaka was 36°C, like to receive the burning feelings of such a Yunho’s stage!! But beyond that heat, he showed a hot, HOT performance!
Once he got off stage, Yunho told us his impressions: the relief of having completed his performance safely, and gratitude toward the audience for a full venue and for showing him again a Red Ocean for the first time in 2 years.
You all in Bigeast who came to the venue, thank you so much for your great support! The show is still going on!
People who will be coming tomorrow, and later at Tokyo Dome, please enjoy being together with Yunho more, and more! ♪ And then, tell Yunho “welcome home!”, please!!
And, and! Yunho has a surprise for everyone in Bigeast! ★ A signed message has arrived for you!!!
Message translation (in Osaka dialect): “I’ve missed you~ ♪ I’ve really missed you~!! Indeed, I love you all…”
