I firmly believe that H:SR Kaeya is a difficult person to read and give help to even to the most observant of his partners/friends. He's unpredictable, always will be, and his interests and hobbies tend to shift in ways that would baffle normal people. He doesn't do it on purpose- rather, his brain goes a trillion thoughts a minute, and he chases the thing that is most complex to construct.

Not to mention that he's hyper independent, and always was. He's used to do things alone.

For an example, as of now and in all verses, he's investigating how to build a greenhouse. How is he going about it? By reading books about how to turn sand into glass, and investigating about finding a forgery close to him. Is he breathing a word about this unless asked? Nope!
