i love your art so much, and im just wondering, do you have any tips for someone who is starting to draw digitally? like where to get references and stuff

i’m definitely not an expert when it comes to giving art advice, but i can say that switching to digital art helped me improve a lot (and getting an ipad helped so much that i almost never draw on paper anymore lol).

i think my biggest piece of advice would be: don’t be afraid to use 3d models and references. i use magic poser for setting up poses, and also love sketchfab because of how many oddly specific models it has that you can rotate and view right in your browser.

honestly, i find most of my references on pinterest. i almost always have a pinterest tab open that i can glance at while i’m working.

and don’t be afraid of tracing as a learning tool. i did it all the time when i was studying construction and anatomy, and still do it sometimes at the sketch stage when i’m working from a 3d model. it saves a lot of time and energy, and can be really helpful for understanding how things fit together.
