it has been....so long. a lot has changed.

for starters, i’m 23. which...is weird to say “outloud.”

it’s hard not to feel like time is quickly passing by when i remember the tumblr days of 2012-2014. i was just 15 years old. it has been EIGHT years since then.

while it’s hard to fathom eight years have passed, i am a completely different person. i have completely different interests and hobbies. however, one thing that hasn’t really changed is my taste in music. i will never pass up the opportunity to jam to some 2010s teen angst music.

thoughts of those times bring me nostalgia, but i can’t help but to feel detached. detached from that life, detached from those memories. that period of my life almost doesn’t feel real.

but

i remember her. i remember me.

i’ve graduated from college two years ago (let’s not get into it, i can barely comprehend that) but I truly feel like life is just beginning. there are SO many things i’ve learned in the past 4 months that has completely changed who i am. so much has been changing internally that i feel like i haven’t had this much growth in my entire life.

i’ll expand upon that at a later date, but the purpose of this post is for a reintroduction. i want to challenge myself to write and share more. writing has always been a strong interest of mine and i’m considering making it a career...in los angeles....yeah, yeah, i’ll get into that later too. expressing myself is something i’ve never felt i was able to do, but i was in a bad relationship that literally forced me to. no, not that bad relationship from high school i used to talk about. this one was the single most important relationship of my life so far. i learned so much about myself, my childhood, and other people that i truly changed after many traumatic events with this person.

i think i needed some of it. i was super naive because i was very sheltered, but again, i’ll get into that some other time.

just wanted to post about my first day back after about six years.
