Patty sits down on the steps in front of the station, where she’s been in the greater part of the last hour. Her thoughts spins as she thinks about the people missing-- Iris, Felicity, Harrison...and how for once in her life, she’s frozen to do anything about it. She hasn’t been exactly the same since she was on earth-2 in Zoom’s lair, and when she usually always persevered, she felt like she couldn’t. That nothing she could do would change anything. Still-- she felt guilty going home, and she felt helpless inside the HQ, so this made the most sense to think about it all. She looks up and sees someone approaching her-- telling them a quick, “Hey.” She swallows.

Patty wasted no time in getting into her professional clothes and accessories. Iris could be in trouble, and while Patty wasn’t particularly close to the woman, she cared for her. If there was anything she could do to help the situation, or even save her, she would do so. Thankfully, her job permitted her to do just that. She holstered her gun, and very quickly drove to the address had been listed for Iris West.

When she arrived at the apartment, Patty immediately went up to the apartment, not checking for Barry. She assumed he would be late, as he usually was. It was a quirk she had quickly gotten used to and expected. When she approached the door, she saw that it was cracked, and upon further inspection, the lock was broken, which made her heart sink in her chest. Immediately, she withdrew her weapon, pointing it in a 45 degree angle towards the ground. She looked around, seeing the familiar figure. “Barry!” she hissed, motioning for him to come forward. “The lock’s broke.”

Barry: right now I think I need cop Patty.

Patty: I'm going to go to Iris's place. Will you meet me there?

Barry: I think Iris may be in danger.

Barry: She's not picking up her phone or texting me back from it and its very unlike her and it might be nothing but...

Patty: I can be right there.

Patty: I just need to know if you need me just as a friend right now, or if you want me to intervene as a cop.

Barry: Which you probably know from caller ID.

Barry: Anyway could you help me out with something?

Patty: Well, you're in my contacts, which isn't exactly caller ID, but it's the same general concept.

Patty: Thank you for saying so. I bet it will. I'm usually good at turning a situation into a positive thing.
