So the duplex my husband and i have been living in for the last couple years just had a 24 hr eviction notice posted on our door, and we have to be out by 2 pm tomorrow.

we might have a place to stay but we’re still waiting to hear back from my husband’s coworker but it’s looking like we may have to stay in a hotel until we can find more permanent arrangements but that means i have to ask for help again because we’ll only have enough to stay in the cheapest place until wednesday, and that still leaves a whole week until my husband’s next paycheck. we have a dog and three cats to take care of, wherever we do eventually end up we’ll only have the bare minimum of essentials because we can’t take what little furniture we have so we’ll be starting over with basically a tv and whatever else we can fit inside of trash bags to carry.

i can’t really offer much in return for anything anyone can do to help, except for maybe writing, though that will be slow because the spacebar on my laptop doesn’t work any more and i have to copy and paste spaces when im writing which can get kind of tedious after a while.

anyway, if anyone can send anything to help us out so we don’t end up completely homeless with four animals that’d super swell

we still don't have anywhere to go to yet but we only have this hotel room until thursday so if anyone can help out to get us a few more days or even a full week, that'd be great.

we do have a friend with an apartment they moved out of but still have a lease on, but it's $1,000 to get the lease signed over to another person and while we could get that amount in just a couple paychecks, we still need somewhere to stay in the meantime.

thankfully we're good on food for another few days because someone got us a bunch of microwavable ramen, but we'll need food for the animals soon so there's also that

there's another hurricane coming and we're already getting hit with rain so i am once again asking if anyone can help with like $15-20 so my husband doesn't have to give up work hours since he's physically unable to walk to work right now since his new work shoes have worn the back of his heels raw to the point that putting band-aids on isn't helping.

If anyone can spare like $20-40 so my husband and I can get something to eat it'd really help us out, my mom helped us replace some of the pots and pans and other houseware stuff the neighbors on the other side of our duplex stole, and the roommate helped fix the fridge and the front door so now we can store perishables and lock people out from just wandering in whenever they like, but we still don't have any groceries which means we have nothing to eat.

I know I've already been asking for help so my husband can get rides to and from work, but we have a new issue that needs sorted by tomorrow, otherwise it won't matter if we have money for lyft or uber because we won't have a way to even order one.

long story short, my husband's phone is on his dad's phone plan, but his dad has been consistently in and out of the hospital for the last month and a half and hasn't been able to work the entire time, and now the phone bill is up and nobody has any money to pay it.

his dad got a deal worked out that if $30 is paid by tomorrow, the phones will at least stay on until thursday when my husband gets paid, and then he can pay the rest of the bill, but we don't even have the $30, so I am once again asking for help from whoever can assist, either by reblogs or what have you. I still don't have a replacement phone for the one that got stolen, so I can't offer art in return yet, at least not until I do have a phone. Regardless, we're in desperate need of assistance rn and anything helps.

asking for help again so my husband doesn't have to walk home from work and so we can get a few things to eat. unfortunately at the moment i can't even offer art in exchange since one of my roommates got a plane ride home and was borrowing my phone to get a ride to the airport and accidentally left with my phone in her pocket so now im kinda stuck with only my shitty tablet/laptop thing until i get it back.

this entire situation has really got out of hand and we're trying to find a new place so we don't have to stay in this duplex anymore but its slow going. currently we're dealing with the plumbing/septic tank not working so we don't have the water turned on to prevent the house from flooding, we can't cook anything because all of our cookware has either been lost or stolen because the front door doesn't lock and our neighbors on the other side of the duplex just let themselves in all the time and we have no way of keeping them out. and on top of that we can't even heat things up in a microwave because that's broken.

we can pay people back if need be, it just might not be right away because we basically had the rug ripped out from under us and we're trying to get back on our feet but it's hard as fuck because im disabled and can't work so it's just my husband with a job

update to the situation. we still need money for food. i still don't have a phone because the lady came back but she's refusing to speak to us and doesn't acknowledge the multiple times i've asked for it back, so we had the phone shut off because i don't expect to get it back now. we still don't have running water or ways to cook anything and we're kind of at our limit. my husband doesn't work today or tomorrow or the next day so we don't have anything to eat or drink for the next 3 days and it'd be nice to at least be able to get some snacks or something to get by until he goes back to work.
