A busca por uma imagem única é sempre uma meta quando saio para minhas filmagens. Em Tonga, com as baleias jubartes, não foi diferente. São dias planejando, tentando, errando, esperando o momento certo e buscando o bicho amigo que irá permitir a aproximação. Nem sempre sai como planejamos, muitas vezes nem sai, algumas batemos na trave mas com persistência conseguimos. Esta pequena amostra é uma delas. Uma imagem meia água de uma jubarte com o megadome na água em movimento. Ela ela esta ai pra contar que a preservação dos oceanos depende da nossa percepção da importância dos seres que se escondem abaixo da linha da superfície. In Tonga, with humpback whales, it was no different. It envolves days of planning, trying, missing, waiting for the right moment and searching for the friendly animal that will allow me to approach. It does not always go out as we planned, often we don’t get it, sometimes we almost achieve but with persistence we succeeded. This little sample is the most recent case. A split shot image of a humpback using the megadome in moving water. It was shot to tell us that the ocean preservation depends on our perception of the importance of the beings that are hidden below the surface line.
