One thing I'm consistently baffled by is how people in the Choices Playerbase can somehow mine a book for diamonds and pay attention, when the whole point is that they were just trying to mine it.

I've mined multiple books for diamonds, and I, quite sincerely, remember nothing about any of them. I certainly didn't care to bitch about them every fucking chapter.

So happy a polyamory option finally endgame exists for Choices, with Kindred, especially that you could say at the end you'd marry them both if the opportunity arose.

What also baffles me is like - I don’t actually read that many Romance Genre novels (like, as in the stuff published as such and shelved as such in a bookstore), or like, any, really, but I can still see the Genre Tropes from a mile away, and fully grasp that’s what’s going on here in these books, especially the single-LI steamy ones that everyone here on Tumblr loves to bitch about, but tons of people just don’t get it. They whine and bitch and scream about the most bland and basic of tropes that are even slightly not ‘fluffy and wonderful’ in a steamy book, but they always end with a grovel and a return to sweet and lovely romance at the end, happily ever after and like...

It’s just a fucking romance novel plot, or maybe a Hallmark-esque movie type story. It’s not that deep guys. 

I just - why can’t people just not play books they clearly hate?

Now, to be clear, I’m a little annoyed that Billionaire’s Baby seems to be rehashing The Nanny Affair a little with another ‘cheating inevitable’ story, since I would have rather the Billionaire be single or something like that.

But I that didn’t stop me with TNA, and It won’t stop me with this one. Because I’m thirsty, gay and would love to imagine a universe where I could be the surrogate for a sexy billionaire and  then marry her afterwards.

I really don’t get why people insist on playing books where they clearly weren’t into the premise to begin with.

Or at least, why they insist on paying attention to said books when they mine them for gems.
