Scott side eyed the cloth, deciding not to comment on it, like ever. “Okay, Double C it is, but yes, I see you got my earlier joke.” A huge grin spread across his face at how happy she seemed. Making people happy was the stuff he lived for, even if her neck probably smelled like a mixture of peanut butter, jelly, and…he side eyed the cloth once more. “It was nothing,” he said, throwing up his hand. “Tossing trash out on the street is a common thing around here. One Eyed Herbert is always digging around in people’s trash looking for used condoms. He’s a collector.” As he made his way back over to his house, he laughed. “Nah. If I was going to run around town, killing all the cute girls, I’d do it to Hey Arnold. Much more original.” Directing her towards his couch, he made his way to the kitchen and started boiling water for their tea. He busied himself with trying to decide if she should get the Spongebob mug or the Aladdin one. By the time everything was finished, he had made up his mind that she was totally a Spongebob. Finally making it back to the living room, he smiled as he sat the mug down in front of her, but his smile quickly dropped when he noticed the DVDs he had left laying out on the table. “Uh…sorry,” he said grabbing them quickly and tossing them across the room against the wall. Laughing nervously, he cut on Netlix and sat down beside her. After a minute or so had passed, he looked over at her. “So…have you ever seen Sex Files: Alien Erotica? I gotta say, it’s a classic, but stay away from Sex Files: Alien Erotica 2. Less aliens, tons more sex. They just turned the original into a joke,” he said and turned his attention from her to the DVDs on the floor then back to the TV.
She noticed him glancing at the cloth and momentarily wondered if it was his and if what she thought was yogurt was actually something.... else and these thoughts gave her a deep desire to wash her hands. Repeatedly. "Well, after Five Night's At Scotty's and Scott's honor, I kind of put two and two together." She smiled, wrapping her finger tips around the sticky beetle. Making another mental note to actually wash the necklace before giving it back to her mom. In case the unmentionables on the cloth got on the necklace. "One Eyed Herbert? Is he like a neighborhood celebrity of something?" She asked as she followed him into the house. "God, I couldn't imagine being murdered as the Hey Arnold theme played in the background, that would be awful. I at least want to be murdered to something cool. Like, I even have a playlist specifically made in case the day comes that someone's gonna kill me. And I'm hoping they'll have enough decency in their heart to play it during said murder." She glanced over at him, gauging his reaction as she silently hoped she hadn't taken the whole murder joke too far. Truthfully, she did have a playlist ready for her hypothetically stabbing, but it wasn't exactly something one should go around telling people, especially people they just met. "Was that weird? That was weird. I'm gonna go sit." She made her way into the living room, glancing around at her surroundings at she did so. At first she laughed at the DVD's thinking they were some kind of parody movie, like Scary Movie, but about X-Files, but when she actually picked them up and read the description on the back, the yogurt cloth suddenly made a lot more disgusting sense. Deciding not to touch virtually anything else until he came back, she messed with her oxygen tank, anxiously peeling one of her stickers off. "Don't even worry about it." She nodded, a polite smile on her face. "Hey, great mug. I love Spongebob. I mean, who doesn't, right?" Laughing nervously, she picked the warm mug up and held it between her hands, appreciating the heat radiating from it, after spending at least twenty minutes digging through trash in the cold, her fingers were practically icicles. Raising an eyebrow, she turned her attention to him after an awkward minute of silence, "Alien porn isn't really my thing. And I don't mean that in a snarky way, like I think everyone has their own turn-ons and that's totally cool and if aliens are yours, that's great. Aliens are lovely."
