WE SURVIVE TOGETHER
VERY PLATONIC
SNARKY BELLARKE IS BACK. I REPEAT SNARKY BELLARKE IS BACK.
#look I’m just saying but they are fucking INSTINCTUAL with each other #and that’s the part that gets me #it’s been months and months without them being around each other regularly #but Clarke still checks over her shoulder to gauge Bellamy’s body language in reaction to the plan #Bellamy still trusts Clarke is taking care of Raven without a doubt #he still checks in with her she still checks in with him #they are tense and angry and guilty and unfamiliar in so many ways but their first instinct is still to take care of each other #help them with what they need to hear and need to do to accomplish the task at hand #help them take care of themselves in some small way #they switch sides around Raven’s bed without blinking without stumbling without having to wonder which way the other’s going #they are just INSTINCT: natural and visceral and almost impossible to deny (x)
My favourite part was what happened after he left. She was adjusting the bandage. He didn’t wrap her properly, it was maybe a little too tight or maybe slightly in the wrong place. But she didn’t say anything, didn’t do it herself. She let him do it instead. She wanted that little moment together. They were in such a tragic place, the last time they saw each other. But now, they have a job to do and they do it. They can have a conversation, or even and argument, later. But they are not done with each other. They care so much, they love so hard and it’s wonderful.
Look. If you are finding The 100 a hard watch or are triggered by the content or find the darkness of the show too much for you, then change the channel. Opt out. Please. Do not subject yourself to something that might be harmful to your well-being. But, if you’ve claimed to have sworn off the show and are not longer a fan, and yet KEEP coming back to get a hit off of The 100 crack pipe to complain some more, I have one thing to say to you: child, please. Go fuck right the fuck off. I have a hard time working up any sort of sympathy for people who won’t make responsible decisions for their own well-being or who actively advocate the cancellation of the show because they cannot separate advocacy from avarice. There’s a huge difference between the LGBT community rightfully demanding respect and proper treatment, and those who keep bashing everything the show does out of lingering anger. For instance, there are people who believe this episode should have had a trigger warning for self-harm due to Raven slitting her wrists. Yet, when Kane self-harmed in 2×06 or Clarke did in 2×02, no one seemed to take issue. But since the show killed off Lexa in the manner that it did, everything past that point is up for derision, regardless of the show’s obvious penchant for graphic violence and dark themes and boundary-pushing since season 1. This is criticism driven by an agenda to tear down the show, is intellectually dishonest, and it bugs the crap out of me. There are many people merely upset that their ship or stan is dead, and are trying to jump onto the “Lexa deserved better” bandwagon, but honestly couldn’t give a FUCK about LGBT representation. If you are unhappy with Lexa’s treatment and how it’s affected the LGBT community, then donate to the Trevor Project. If the show is causing you mental or emotional distress, stop watching. Do the right thing for your own mental health. But if you are merely directing your anger at the cast, crew, writers, and fans because you feel entitled to do so, then go float yourself. These are actual people you are unloading on, not faceless social media accounts. The 100 has never been a show that pulls its punches. It is violent. It is graphic. It is harsh in its depiction post-apocalyptic life. It kills people off at record pace. This is NOT a show for children or those who are susceptible to be adversely affected by its subject matter. And no, the CW is no longer the teen network of years past, so stop using that as your excuse to criticize the show – especially when other scenes and situations didn’t warrant a mention until now. I can run down a list of disturbing things that have happened on this show…it set its tone and direction years ago. But now you have a problem with the subject matter? Now the network it’s on matters?

At WonderCon 2016, Executive Producer of "The 100," Jason Rothenberg, explains what he would have done differently related to the controversial death of Lexa...
Guys…this man’s voice cracked 3-4 times during this interview. HE GETS IT. He IS being sincere. There is NO WAY that he’s not. Whether you like how he would have changed things or not is irrelevant. He is HUMAN. He made a mistake. Hell, he made a lot of mistakes. He’s admitted, though. Can we please give him a chance going forward? Let him try again? PLEASE?

Alright only going to say this once. Bellarke was in the works way before Lexa entered the picture. If you watch the show closely you will see a steady progression in Bellamy and Clarke’s relationship. From S1 to S3, narratively and technically it has been shown to be building up, very possibly, to romance. Please stop discounting Bellarke as something that sprung up from the ground of Lexa’s death. Just as I will not discount Lexa and Clarke’s relationship. Mutual respect and critical viewing of the show please.
I feel like so many people have stopped talking about Bellarke since Thursday. I mean, we can have respect and still ship the heck out of Bellarke too. Sign me up for some quality Bellarke time filled with angsty conversations, consoling, hugs, hopefulness, and friendship the rest of this season. Bellamy and Clarke were already important to one another, but make them the absolute most important people in each other’s lives now. Make them need one another on a mental, emotional, and physical level. Make them have a conversation about the people they’ve lost in the recent weeks. Make them decide they need to lead their people together because they’re too broken to do it apart. Make them grow to love each other in every way before they love each other romantically. Make them find hope in the other person. Make Bellamy find hope in himself in Clarke. Make Clarke find hope in a reason to move forward for Bellamy. Make Bellamy start to wonder about his feelings for Clarke mean. Make this happen and then we’ll talk about season 4.
Why are bellarke fans making romantic gifs out of when he handcuffed her like no fuck that scene
Haha, we're probably just as twisted as when Clexa shippers gif:ed Clarke spitting in Lexas face, called her a bitch and threatened to kill her😏
THIS is why I ship them. THIS RIGHT HERE.
“Bellarke is abusive” hmm seems like a few episodes ago Clarke was spitting in lexa’s face, calling her a bitch, and threatening to kill her. But that’s none of my business
Yess! Thank you! Im so sick of them saying it's abusive! Bellamy & Clarke are best friends, he is allowed to yell at her and tell her how he feels without it being abusive.. (The handcuffs weren't abusive either, he did it for her own good)
I know that I have got this all wrong I’m reaching out To touch your voice
