So I have to speak out on this Taylor Swift video, "Wildest Dreams." I am not a fan of Taylor, but I've worked with her and as a person she's cool. I saw the music video and it took place during the 1950's. I guess my question is what exactly do you expect to see with a 1950's film crew in Africa? In the 1950's we (Blacks) were fighting our own battles in America. In the 1950's South Africa were fighting their battles BUT to say there were no Africans portrayed in the video is false. J. Khan mentioned Africans were in the background and if you missed it you can go through the pics I screen shot. Overall I thought the video was shot well and it told a love story based on the song. Moving on to the next topic.

Let me take you back about 13 yrs ago. This was my 1st cell phone. No color screen, no touch screen. The only apps you had were snake, calculator and clock. You had to text by hitting a number mulitple times or using the "T9" function. This was when I enjoyed the simplicity of the phone. I chose my favorite standard midi tone or I bought one that sounded nothing like my favorite song. Phone calls were free after 9PM, each txt msg was worth 10 cents after you exceeded your limit. Which means don't text me "Hi," & you better use all 160 characters to say what you have to say and not run over with 161 characters cause that would equal 2 txt msgs. Meaning you're messing with my money. Oh and emoijis were -> :). You could even pop off the faceplate and get a customized one. Last thing, I looked up more often. Oh the simple days. #TBT #CellPhone
