update
hey guys! so unfortunately in the next week or so, I will have finals and will be wrapping up my last art classes for the school year :( this means a few things:
I won't be able to post as much
I only have about 5 more prints left to post, otherwise until spring break and/or summer, I will be mostly inactive
I might start posting some poems
anyways I know this really only effects me and my work, but thank you anyways for taking the time to read this :)
violet: a self-portrait here’s the third project!! i finished it about two weeks ago but didn’t get the chance to take a picture until earlier today. so it was supposed to be a self portrait but it turned out looking nothing like me lmao. it was pretty hard drawing me looking in a mirror. i think i would much rather just use a picture reference next time. i think the shading looks pretty good though for a newer medium (pastel). i think all of this comes with practice, as does anything! (also the paper is white, for some reason the lighting is weird and makes it look yellow)
My fourth project for this years art classes! I wanted to try a manga-ish look with my letter cocoiro pen and my sketch copics. I think it looks pretty good for a my first real copic piece.
I was able to finish these yesterday. this is my second darkroom project for my photography class, only one more left!
1st - picture of an apartment complex in Minneapolis, mn.
2nd - my mom and my dog tiger posing for their portrait together. its a little blurry, but as focused as I could get it when enlarging it.
3rd - just my contact print for the second project. my negatives turned out really well again.
I've been inactive for a few days, so just to get something out, heres a contact print for the first dark room project I've had this year! maybe soon ill get more projects and sketches done.
a final for a project in my photography class
st paul cathedral, mn
my latest attempts at using mediums other than graphite pencil
1st - “Lila” a charcoal portrait of my great grandma in 1937.
2nd - “Sun Kissed” a watercolor and graphite portrait of a girl. used watercolor pencils (that i found in my art class), prismacolor turquoise sketching pencils, and finetec pearlescent and iridescent watercolor paints
my best pictures from my latest trip to arizona!
1st - queen creek olive mill
2nd - tall rock on apache trail
3rd - canyon lake
4th - birds eye view of az as i was leaving via airplane
