as pride month comes to a close, i want to give a shoutout to all the closeted people who stuck it through. it’s so hard to see everyone celebrating pride when you can’t say or do anything to show you’re pride. if you’re closeted, just know that you are loved🌈

tbh the best way that i explain to other people what it feels like to live with an anxiety disorder is the one time when i had to get a fingerprint and background check done for a job and i, someone who has never received so much as a speeding ticket my whole life, spent thirty minutes panicking that i would fail because i might secretly be a criminal and have no idea

It’s so important to me that David is so nonchalant about the future with Patrick. We know that this is the longest, most serious relationship he’s ever been in, and it would be easy to write him as commitment-phobic and insecure and constantly telling everyone else not to refer to the future of the relationship so as not to jinx it, and yeah we do see a fair amount of insecurity from him, but he’s so casual about talking about the future and it’s obvious he feels really safe and secure and valued and loved in this relationship and that is what a good, healthy relationship looks like and UGH I JUST LOVE THEM SO MUCH

I think that this is something that David always wanted, but no one he was ever with wanted the same. But Patrick does want those things, and actually loves David for all that he is. Therefore David can be as open about his wants for the future as he wants to be, and give him all of the love he has had to give because Patrick will take it and not take David for granted.
