Today is my birthday and since I’ve been a bit sad the last few days because of the Good Omens finale I’ve decided to make myself feel better with all the ships I love. Warning a bit of Good Omens season 3 spoilers.
Destiel is definitely my fave ship. I actually got into them because of Aziracrow. When season 2 of GO came out I was looking up a bunch of interviews and YouTube kept showing me Destiel videos. I didn’t want to watch them but eventually Cas confession speech popped up and I had to watch it. I then realized Destiel is real.
Cockles goes along with Destiel since Destiel is Cockles fault. Funny thing is I watched a lot of old con interviews before I watched an ep of Supernatural. Made watching some of the con interviews a little difficult since I didn’t understand some stuff like once someone asked Jensen what his fave prop was and someone said baby. I thought they were talking about a baby doll I didn’t know why he got defensive now I know the difference. Those con interviews made me love Misha and Jensen before I loved Cas and Dean. I love their chemistry it’s definitely not something you can fake.
Right now I can’t call them inferable husbands because it hurts too much. All I’ll say is the first part of the finale was great I loved seeing them work together again and sort of talking about their feelings but the end just isn’t my thing. I wasn’t worried about the ending because I assumed they would give us them living together at a cottage. What we got was 2 random guys that I have no emotional attachment to living together at a cottage. I’m happy for them but they’re not the Crowley and Aziraphale I’ve spent years loving. Their not the Crowley and Aziraphale we watched meeting at the beginning of time then all through history. They are a version of them but they’re not them.
I absolutely love Ray K and Fraser. As I’m writing this I’m watching Due South and it’s Mountie On The Bounty part 1 and Fraser’s dad just said partnership is like a marriage then started talking about his relationship with his old work partner. That seems to be a running thing with them. It’s like you can think of them either way. Fraser and Ray V are obviously best friends but Ray K and Fraser have a deeper relationship and I think a bit of that comes from Callum and Paul’s real friendship.
Wat and Chaucer are not canon but it’s hard to watch A Knights Tale and not think there’s something between them. They are definitely the enemies to lovers thing.
Sometimes I ship Beejhawk as friends and sometimes more then that it really depends on the ep.
Schitts Creek is a decently good show not the best but not the worst but it definitely gets better when David and Patrick get together. I don’t know if it’s intentional or not but personally Daniel seems more at ease in scenes with Noah.
Gallavich is an interesting couple. They are one of few of my ships that actually get married but even that was basically thanks to Cameron. By season 9 both actors were gone from Shameless but they wanted Cameron back but he said he’d only come back if they brought back Noel. Thank god they agreed.
Nygmobblepot is another interesting ship. They keep trying to kill each other but they love each other. Apparently according to my friend they were supposed to become canon but comic book fans went nuts that Oswald and Ed are not supposed to be gay so they left it as they were partners but you decide if it’s just business partners or also in life. Personally with the amount of flirting in the last ep they are definitely partners in life too.
Lastly another real life friendship that I love is Robin and Cory. Just from my own eyes personally I think if Robin wasn’t married they’d be a real couple.
