You’re the best and most wonderful person I have the honor of calling my Mom. You’ve not only been my Mother but you’ve also been my father too. Jayden waited as close to patient as he could in the aptly named waiting room of the hospital. His legs curled up against his chest as his heels balanced on the edge of the seat. He didn’t care how childish he looked into the moment. Tightening his grip back around his legs, he pressed his face into them, trying to calm his sobbing so he wouldn’t be sick. “Do you need anything, Mr. Huntley?” he heard the voice of one of the staff. “No, thank you.” he lifted his head before dropping it back down, his tone deadpan yet cracked as he was one more question away from screaming. He didn’t care to look at anyone until someone he cared to see shows up.

“Jayden!” he heard the all too familiar voice call out to him, rushing out of his spot he ran to his mom and hugged her tightly. “What happened? Where’s Stellan?” before he could get a word out he almost fell into another fit of uncontrollable sobbing. “He.. the doctors. th-they have him.” it was sudden when his knees gave out, sending him to the ground, hugging Celeste’s legs. “Mama… he tried t-t-to kill him-himself.”

Shock, fear and pain hit her all at once and left her frozen where she stood. "Mom he kept-k-k-kept asking me n-n-not to hate him. I knew something." She heard Jayden try to explain before sobbing again. Dropping to her knees she pulled Jayden's shaking body in to her. "I should have tried to help him I should..." He spoke before another sob threatened to spill from him. "No Jayden, don't you dare. This isn't your fault. He is going to be fine." She said trying to console him.

"Come on, get up. Stellan is going to be okay." She said again with more assurance in her voice. But it wasn't for Jayden this time, it was for herself. She didn't want Jayden to see her break down and fall apart. "Come on baby." She said hold out her hands to help her son from the floor. "Mama, if something happens to him, I can't, I won't be able to forgive myself." Celeste heard Jayden say into her shoulder. "He will be fine, I promise." She said hugging him as tight as she could.

Jayden was barely back in the suite for five minutes when he heard a loud thud vibrate through the floor. He had just finished talking with Ezra, deciding that his presence would be better in Stellan’s company to watch over him. Running towards Stellan’s room, he tried to to enter but there was no give in the handle as it was locked. “Stellan!” Jayden called out, banging his palm furiously against the door. “Stellan, it’s Jayden! Are you alright? Make a noise? Something?!” Panic started to set it’s deep claws into Jayden as he continued to hear nothing but silence, knowing that his brother was in the room.

Without a second thought Jayden steadied himself before aiming below the handle, kicking it in a few times before the door gave way and swung open, slamming back against the wall. Jayden started to feel sick when he was met with the scene of his brother lying on the floor. Rushing to his brother he hurried to scramble to the floor. “Stellan.. Stellan, wake up!” he shook his brother, only to get no response but dead weight being shaken. Checking his pulse he was relieved to know that it was still beating, weak as it was becoming. A glimmer caught the corner of his eye, he seen a bottle of everclear, half the contents gone and a large glass damp with evidence of recent activities.

Jayden tried to push back tears but to no avail as he fumbled around for his phone, dialing the hospital. After a mess of hurried and mashed words, the emergency crew were on their way. Grabbing a hold of Stellan, he propped his back against him. He gripped onto his brother as he rocked him, tears streaming as he mumbled in hope. “I’m so sorry I failed to protect you, Stellan. Please don’t leave me, please don’t let it be too late. I love you so much I don’t know what I’m going to do if you’re gone.”

His head snapped up when he heard a herd of feet trample in “in here!” Jayden yelled out, his voice course from crying. He watched as the team of people handle his brother, wishing he could fix him himself instead of having bunch of near strangers surround him. Another thing caught his eye, a photo album splayed open on the floor. He quickly grabbed it and held it tightly as he ran to catch up with the paramedics to get in the ambulance.

Celeste was jerked awake when she felt her phone vibrating on the table. Picking up the phone her dull and tired expression turned to confusion when she read Jayden's name flash across the screen. She quickly punched the accept option and pulled the phone to her ear. "Mama..." Her heart sank when she heard the hoarse and hopeless voice that belonged to Jayden. "Yeah baby, I'm here. What's wrong?! Is everything okay??" She frantically asked. She knew that something was terribly off and panic and fear started to fill her.

"Stellan..." Was the only thing Jayden was able to tell her before his voice tampered off into heart wrenching sobs. "I'll be right there okay? I will be there!" She said hurriedly and she hung up the phone. Celeste grabbed the nearest sweater and threw on and slipped on a pair of flats. She didn't care how disheveled she looked, her sons we're in pain and she needed to be there for them.

There’s a death certificate and I would assume you all had a funeral for him. I’ve been good, worrying aside now. How are you dealing with this all?

It was Jayden, I knew all the stress he deals with was going to catch up to him sooner or later. We did have a funeral, Richard handled all the details regarding the death certificate. But Richard said there was a Harper Sinclair that checked into the Island, it's in the record books but it could just be a coincidence. I honesty don't know how I'm dealing with all of it. I just feel like my life is spiraling out of control and there is nothing I can do to stop it.

Tired, even though I was basically almost in a coma. I’m sorry to have worried you all with this. You actually read my mind, because I’ve been wanting to kind of take a break from it to be honest. I want to spend time with you all without having to worry about when grandfather snaps at me about needing to do something for him.

That's to be expected, you'll perk right up  in a few days. You take your break go be with your man and I will deal with your Grandfather. If he snaps at you for not working, I'll snap my foot off in his ass.

All I remember is talking to someone, freaking out about something, then I wake up in the hospital being told I had a heart attack. I knew this was bound to come.

I'm surprised I don't look about seventy-five with all the shit I've been dealing with this past month. Jayden is so much like Harper that it scares me. I begged him and begged him not to work so much but he didn't listen and all the stress just caught up with him. The boys will be so happy to see you though.
