The Future for Adventure Time Cast
In Adventure Time: Distant Lands “Together Again”, it was revealed that it takes place many years into the future and most of the cast of characters have died such as Tree Trunks, Tiffany, Mr. Fox, Mr. Pig, Choose Goose, Jermaine, candy citizens and many more, but how about the other cast that are still alive? What are they doing now? So let’s explore on what each character are doing now.
Although Finn and Jake have died, but by the end of “Together Again”, they get reincarnated together and most likely to Sheremy and Beth from the first couple of minutes and last minutes of “Come Along With Me”
Peppermint Butler has been promoted from Princess Bubblegum loyal servent to a Princess. He redesign the Candy Kingdom to be more mystic
He or one of his subjects has made a statue of Princess Bubblegum as an memorial. He still does his black magic from time to time
Many people think she’s passed away due to her statue
However it’s not the case for she is “immortal”. She likely resign as princess after the events of “Obsidian” and gave the crown to her trustworthy butler, spending the rest of her life with her vampire girlfriend/wife, Marceline
As his friends, Finn and Jake passed away, she became the new King of Ooo, living at top of Mount of Cragdor, surrounded of mementos of his friends as her treasures
Since Marcy is an immortal, she’ll live longer than her friends. As of now, she’s spending her immortal life with her bubblegum girlfriend/wife, Bonnibel Bubblegum
Aside Bubblegum and Patience St. Pim, Flame Princess, Lumpy Space Princess, and Slime Princess will die and get reincarnated.
After saving his people from the tyranny of Lemongrab, he travel the world ‘till 1000 years later, he returns to his home and slept, feeling satisfied of his freedom,
8) Simon Petrikov/Ice King
Finally, the most interesting character, Simon Petrikov/Ice King. In “Obsidian”, it is revealed that he hasn’t aged at all, making uncertain if he’s immortal or not. While not explained, he likely still looking for Betty in the multiverse as he was asking Prismo of her whereabouts in the “Come Along With Me” montage.
This is so far of what Adventure Time had explained for the fate of it’s characters and what they have been doing for the last 500+ years. Hopefully, they’ll be another season of Distant Lands for characters that didn’t get fleshed outt, or potential spinoff about the future.
