Maybe an odd thing to ask how to do, since it’s intrinsically pretty personal, but like… how does one make a kinsona?
Can i make a kinsona if i don’t really have source memories and thus don’t know what i look like aside from being related to canon in some way?
Sometimes folks give their kinsonas slightly different names than the character they kin, is it okay to do that???
How much of the other “myself” (the parts of me that aren’t the fictionkin identity) should i mix in??? Will it become too unlike the character at some point??
I know it’s a stupid question because i can and should do whatever i want because it’s MY identity and the guy from the thing is always going to be me regardless, but like…. i don’t know what to do…..
I don’t know if this is just plain exorsexism or gncphobia or a mixture of the two, but lately I’ve noticed that people leave very, very little room for androgynous nonbinary & genderqueer people.
On one end of things, I’ve seen a lot of downright aggression towards androgynous people from trans folks who’ve bought into the trans “friendly” version of radical feminism. It’s nothing new and, unfortunately at this point, I feel like a lot of us expect it.
The other end is a lot more disappointing to me though. Androgyny is, largely, outright excluded even in spaces friendly to nonbinary & genderqueer people. On TDoV, it’s “happy TDoV to nonbinary people who aren’t androgynous!”, during pride month it’s “happy pride month to nonbinary people who aren’t androgynous” and I’ve seen so many positivity posts that celebrate masc & fem enben specifically while excluding androgynous enben.
I’m glad my fem & masc siblings are getting the love and positivity they deserve, but it’s also getting frustrating that people are treating positivity and celebration for them as inherently incompatible with celebration for androgynous folks outside the binary. It’s also especially frustrating because it feels as though those posts imply that there’s an endless supply of androgyny positivity, when there’s really not. Androgyny is, most often than not, only brought up as something you don’t have to be.
I don’t have a neat, well thought out conclusion to be entirely honest. I guess I just wish that nonbinary & genderqueer celebration extended to all gender presentations.

It is good for people to be aware that enbyhood can be fem and masc, but I wish the people making these posts of "you can be enby and not androgynous" would also add "and you can be enby and not masc or fem."
Both statements should co-exist, as to not push the narrative one way or another.
For example, a good post would be:
"Happy pride month to fem, masc, androgynous, abinary, multigender, multidirectional, and unlabeled enben! You are all equally valid! Your connection or disconnection from femininity and masculinity doesn't dictate how nonbinary you are!"
Or, another example:
"Reminder folks - androgynous, neutral, null, genderless, xenine, outherine, aporine, multigender, multidirectional, and unlabeled enben are underrepresented in society! Stop pushing them into binary boxes!
And reminder, fem and masc enben also exist, and are no less nonbinary than androgynous, abinary, multi, and unlabeled enben! Stop pushing them into binary boxes, too!
Or another:
"Androgyny is not required for enben, yes, but androgynous enben deserve to exist and be represented! Both truths can & should coexist! Respect and represent enben in every category, be it masc, fem, androgynous, abinary, multi, or unlabeled!"

i recently watched some of the spirou animated series (1993 i do not have access to the 2006 one because i am a bum) and it was so bad it was amazing. why do they say their names like that. the animation sucked hot balls but at the same time the backgrounds were actually really good? fantasio was there so it’s basically the worst media ever but spirou was there so it was very good actually
