How is it to yume a character like friend

hello! thanks for the ask, spamcrown’s evil femboy hellscape!

to answer that question, i’ll assume you’re talking about friend’s obscurity and stupidly little content! for me personally, it gave me more freedom to imagine them as a character and how they would be around me. however, this comes with the caveat that i also have no content of them! for heaven’s sake, the only dialogue they have is “always at your humble service”. and while that IS flattering, don’t get me wrong, i often feel as if it can be pointless to ship myself with them, especially since there’s a nonzero chance they’re just a gimmick character with zero lore relevance.

but then again, what’d yumeshipping be if it wasn’t a bit pointless? i have fun with my yumeships, especially with this stupid cat, they’re amusing to me so for as long as deltarune goes on, i’ll be right there cheering for my groovy kitty to fully appear ingame!

a lot of my perception of them is simply based off vibes and their lore implications. they’re obviously very enigmatic, and also somewhat playful at the very least as they crash the website on spamton sweepstakes, usually disappear as soon as the player sees them and well. they have a huge grin! i like that about them, i find it charming, so naturally in my autism-fueled attraction, i decided to ship myself with them.
