Hey there! I'm Comet Scepter. I decided to set up a neat little blog for me and my family to answer questions, since my mom and grandparent are pretty cool. I am too, maybe! Guess you'll have to find out, hehehe.

But yeah, they asked me to type up this intro because "something something I'm the best something something" (hehe just kidding don't worry I'm not THAT bad).

HEEEY! ketch here once again. hopefully with an ask blog that gives me more motivation to write !! this is a blog for my sona (comet scepter), alongside their mother quasar and their grandparent starlight! starlight is like. a sword deity. so hauhuahuhuhah ..hhaha ......

"He was kind of adopted into our family- I mean, he was already technically a part of it, he's biologically my uncle even though our ages aren't super far apart, but now WE take care of him and stuff. Pretty cool, right?"

So.... You know he's here, right? Him and both of his fathers. Is there a reason you haven't gone to see the young prince? - @simply-windy

"There is a reason."

-> They sigh and rub their temple.

"It is an often deadly flaw of mine. A flaw of distance and apathy to the things I have had a hand in creating."

"I am able to watch the young prince. I check on him every so often to make sure he is doing his duty to the stars. I.. I should speak to him. I doubt he knows who I am, but he truly does deserve to know."

OH. Starlight. Serious question. So you're a like... Space deity, right? Are you like- The deity OF space? [Like space n everything involving it] or are you the deity of like- A specific part of space? [Like stars, the moon, etc etc] - @simply-windy

"Starlight is a vague name given to a god whose purpose is just as vague."

-> They hum, clasping their hands.

"I am a deity of space, yes. The entirety of it, the essence of it, the idea of it. My mind is connected to its vastness, and my being reflects both its beauty and its horror. I represent all that space has to offer. By that, I suppose that makes me a deity of potential and purpose. However.."

-> They pause.

"..There are certain aspects that I cannot link myself to. Aspects of void, of collapse, and of shadow. These are things that I cannot see nor control."

Anything! I feel like it's not common that y'know- A god/demigod gets with a mortal... So what was it about him that made him so attractive? - @simply-windy [For: Comet]

"Ohh, heh, yeah, a lot of things, really.. First and foremost, he listens to me when nobody else will."

-> They fiddle with their thumbs, chewing on their lip before continuing.

"No one really takes me, uh, suuuper seriously? If that makes sense? But he does, and he cares about the things I have to say. He supports me in a way that kinda gives me butterflies, as cheesy as that might sound... He doesn't care that I'm not fully mortal, either. He'll hold my hand either way, y'know?"

-> They seem to shy up a bit, rubbing the side of their neck while laughing nervously.

"All of them?"

-> They hesitate, then heave a sigh of pure exhaustion.

"Alright.. If you insist. My siblings are generally difficult in their own ways, which makes dealing with them quite the chore, to say the very least. I suppose I will go in order of eldest to youngest."

"Sun Slayer is the one I respect most. She is prideful, but not to a fault. I would trust her with many serious matters if necessary. As for Dragon Flame..."

-> Their expression sours slightly.

"Dragon Flame takes things very seriously. I respect that. However, he tends to be cruel in my humble opinion. Moving on, Blackh-"

-> They stop themselves, eyes seeming to glaze over slightly before refocusing. They shake their head, blinking.

"I will not speak on.. That, sibling. As of right now, at least."

-> They clear their throat and straighten their back as they continue.

"Heartsong is apathetic, yes, but I believe that he still has his compassion if one looks deep enough. He has simply been broken over time, as we all have been. He merely shows it in a different way, and for that I believe that we must give him the patience he deserves."

"Overseer and Paper are mischievous and quite obnoxious at times. However, they bring a certain charm to the family that we lacked before. While their presence requires a certain amount of patience to endure, their enthusiasm when together is infectious. I will admit that I have a soft fondness for those two."
