I swear i’ve heard that name somewhere before.
I believe it's a somewhat popular name, so you could be thinking of someone else. However, I am the current Champion of Sinnoh, so there's always a chance that you've heard of me because of that.
Mhmm, that might be the case… So, how are things goin’ for ya?
Everything is fine right now, there's nothing I can complain about. I'm a tad behind in research, but it's nothing big. How are things for you, Sidney?
[He tips his hat to her out of respect.] You are an amazing woman, Miss Cynthia. I had not taken you for a fellow musician, but it isn’t unexpected. My Chandelure loves to listen to me play, especially the quieter sonatas. My Litwicks try for more upbeat tunes though.
Traveling? What all have you seen in your travels? Is there anything you are looking for in your research? I am a little envious that you can go so far. I can only travel as far as the trains will take me…though I have gone on vacation in Sinnoh a time or two. Those were interesting trips…
[ She blushes, covering her smile with her hand again, mostly to try and hide the blush this time..] Thank you, Ingo. Perhaps we can play together next time the both of us are free? It seems like it would be fun.
What I've seen...I think it would be impossible to list everything! I've seen so much, and been to so many places. But hm, let me think of something interesting to tell you. [She taps on her chin as she thinks, then her golden eyes light up as she has an idea.] Oh! I've met Arceus once during one of my travels. It was such an honor. I never thought I would have a chance to meet such a wonderful creature like it...[She sighs happily, remembering the event.]
Oh? What made them interesting, if you don't mind me asking? If you want to go on a small vacation but don't have time to leave the region, I recommend Undella Town. The beach there is so beautiful and there's a little shop that has the best ice cream I've ever had.
[He almost smiles in a shy way at being called sweet, but he reels it in, maintaining that stoic frown as ever.] Thank you…
[He perks up though, his expression turning neutral.] I love battling! Especially if I can get a challenge out of a trainer. And my job is one of the most important things to me. Beyond that…I enjoy playing the piano and cooking…reading, taking care of my Litwicks…
[He laughed a little nervously.] Um, what about you, Miss Cynthia? Besides being a Champion and enjoying your mythology and ice cream, what else do you like?
You play piano? What a coincidence, I also play! It's such a wonderful instrument. It makes my Togekiss incredibly happy whenever I play, she used to enjoy sitting on the seat next to me and watching before she evolved. Now she's a little too big for that, but she still loves to hear it!
As far as my hobbies go...I don't believe I have many other than that. I'm usually too busy with my actual work or researching for much else. [She takes a moment to think more.] I do enjoy traveling, though that's part of researching most of the time. When I have a lot of free time, I enjoy going out places, like to the theater and such, but I usually have to drag one of my Elite members out with me for that.
[He straightens up and adjusts his hat, trying to hide a somewhat embarrassed look at his overly formal nature.] I-I am sorry. I just don’t meet a Champion every day and I hold such members of the Elite in high regard…
[He listens in thoughtful silence and looks a little concerned as she seems a little upset by her lack of ice cream.] …interesting. I did not know you had such a fondness for ice cream. But nonetheless, it is good to hear that you are well, Miss Cynthia.
[Gains a proud pose of a sort.] Everything has been going quite well, actually. An undefeated streak over the last few weeks. And busy is the way I like it— keeping the trains going and accepting challengers is all a part of my job.
[She notices the embarrassed look and gives him an apologetic look.] Aha, I'm sorry if I embarrassed you, Ingo. I just prefer to be treated more like a normal person. Though I don't really mind it as much when it's coming from such a sweet guy like you.
[She listens while he talks and seems to become more interested when he mentions the winning steak.] So you must really like your job, huh? That must be wonderful being able to do what you love! And a winning streak is always great. You must really love battling, hm? Is there anything else you enjoy doing?

Cynthia? As in the Sinnoh Elite Four Champion, Cynthia? An honor this is that you would take the time to greet me. [He gives a bow.] May I ask how you are doing today?
Yes, that would be me. [She's smiling, but she puts a hand up to her mouth.] But please, there's no need to bow. I'm no one special.
I'm doing pretty well. I found a rather large book on Sinnoh mythology that wasn't already in my collection earlier. Though when I went to read it, I found that the ice cream drawer in my fridge was empty... [She sighs, looking momentarily upset before she's smiling again.] Other than that everything has been wonderful!
How have things been going for you? I'm not too sure what a Subway Boss does exactly, but it sounds like it would be something that keeps you busy!

Yes, I am the Sinnoh Champion. [She nods.] And you're right, perhaps that does have something to do with it. Or maybe I could have just seen one of your battles on TV sometime?
The only complaint I have about Sinnoh tends to be the constantly cold weather. Of course, having lived here most my life, I am used to it, but my trips to Unova may have spoiled me.

There seems to be a lot of people I have yet to greet around now, and I'm sure it would be a pleasure to speak to you all if I was given the chance. My name is Cynthia, if you weren't already aware.
It’s nothing of interest, really. Not for now, anyway.
Hot damn, you’ve got the looks, skills, and smarts to boot. Good for you, Cynthia. ‘M kinda jealous, actually— don’t think I’ve ever met such an accomplished woman before.
[She smiles, flattered by that.] Thank you, Tabitha. I've worked very hard to accomplish all that I have. But I believe it's all obtainable by anyone who works hard enough.
Watch out!!!! You almost burned me...with your hotness...Want to makeout?
Aren't you bold? Maybe some other time. I'm more into...men, not little boys.
[He was surprised by her sudden concern for his appearance, but he just laughed. Shaking his head, he finished off the last of his cone and cleaned his face off himself afterward. His smile remained though.]
It’s all right, Cynthia! I’m glad you had the concern to clear it off before it possibly ruined my suit. [He gave a small tug of his collar, grinning playfully.] Though maybe next time, a little warning might help. I’d hate to come off as rude by reacting strangely…
Oh and as a good turn deserves another…! [He carefully whipped out his own black handkerchief and cleaned off her cheek of a smudge of ice cream.] There~. [He chuckled softly and sat back down.]
[She lets out a little giggle when he cleans off her cheek.] Thank you, Lucian. It's very appreciated.
[Cynthia goes to take another lick of her ice cream but realizes it's no longer there. She looks at the cone with disappointment, and for a moment looks like she's on the verge of tears.]
...I guess I ate it all without realizing it. [She lets out a small sigh and is her usual smiling self within moments.] Ah, that's too bad. I guess I'll just have to wait till I get home for more.
[He puts a hand to his chin in thought, smiling as he starts to rattle off a description. He was picking up a surface thought from her.] Hm, not just hair, but also eyes! The man on your mind has his nose in a book and dresses rather snappily as well. His name…has something to do with ‘light’.
[He perks up some at her research.] Oh? Have you made any progress or discoveries in that field? Johto has several ruins I am sure you would be interested in visiting in the future!
[She looks surprised, wondering how the man knew that. And then she starts to laugh.] Oh, I see. You're not only a Psychic type trainer, but a Psychic as well. How wonderful. The man on my mind is named Lucian, and he's the Psychic trainer of the Sinnoh Elite Four.
And yes, I've made a lot of progress and discoveries both! They've helped me learn and understand about legendary Pokemon, and even meet some of them! I've heard about the ruins in Johto, they're actually tied in with Arceus, the Alpha Pokemon who is said to have created Sinnoh, and possibly the entire world! Unfortunately, I have yet to go see them.
[ On reflex, Tabitha colored a bit, prepared to launch to the defense of his own name— but there was no need, it seemed. Slightly flustered, he smiled. ]
Yea, I’m a trainer. Not— not competitively, though. I work for a, ahh… politically angled company, y’see, gettin’ itself off the ground. And you?
Politically angled company? Hm. Sounds interesting. As for myself, I'm currently the Champion in the Sinnoh region! But I'd like to think of myself as a researcher too, since it's what I spend a good majority of my time doing.

Tabitha? I don't believe I've heard that name used for a boy before...but I like it. So tell me, Tabitha, what is it that you do? Are you a trainer?
Ah, but you are to many who seek to achieve great things as trainers! But nonetheless, I see what you mean. [He gave a polite nod of the head.]
And indeed I am! Psychic is indeed my specialty as well. Quite perceptive of you, my lady. So what is it you’re after as a Champion? Or is there more to you than just battles?
You just had that sort of 'Psychic feel' about you. Well, that, and you kind of remind me of someone else I know. Not too sure why though...

And yes, there's much more than just battles with me. When I'm not performing my duties as Champion, I often spend time researching myths and exploring places that involve the legendary Pokemon of Sinnoh. And, as of recently, the legendaries of other regions too. They're all so fascinating.
Ah, of course not. Champion status is nice, but hardly something I am after right now. Bigger Magikarp to fry and all. But no stakes at all in this battle? That’s no fun~. How about whoever loses buys the winner something to eat? If I remember my database information, you are quite fond of ice cream.
[He offers his hand to her with a welcoming smile.] Shake on it?
Something to eat? Oh that is something I can agree on! Your information is correct, I absolutely love ice cream. But you should know, with motivation like that, I am most definitely going to win!
[Looking enthusiastic, obviously excited at the thought of ice cream, Cynthia takes his hand and shakes it.]
