On the topic of shifters who experience themselves as different races in other realities, I do think that there is a problem with people speaking up over poc and reasons they may be uncomfortable with it. As someone who is fine with it, and being a poc myself I think that people are a bit too harsh sometimes with poc who may be against it or have issues with that. I don’t agree with anti’s but I can see why they think a certain way.

Yet I also think there is a problem with POC who have different viewpoints on this issue being talked over and even attacked by anti’s. I have seen POC get treated in a rather hostile manner simply because they said they supported and were fine with shifters who experience themselves as a different race. Getting told they don’t respect themselves, their ancestors are disappointed in them, they aren’t proud of their heritage, and so much more.

POC have different perspectives on things and as someone who is fiercely against racism, and is a proud POC myself, and genuinely believes in the liberation of all races from racism and white supremacy, I genuinely don’t have any issues with this. Because I believe that is another reality which already exists.

Also I do know that a lot of this discussion and hate from antis seems to centre western, particularly US American POCs view on race and racism in general, when a lot of countries around the world have different views and many POC have different experiences and perspectives.

And I know that’s not even the controversial part, the fact that reality already exists. the controversial part is someone growing up here in this reality that is rampant with racism and discrimination choosing to go another reality where they are a different race and have certain intentions.

But the thing is, is that honestly anything can be problematic(according to this reality) based on intentions. People who support those with DRs where they go off and fight and hurt people and engage in battles like Marvel or DC could be doing that to let off violent urges and wanting to hurt alien species.

You can’t assume that everyone who seeks to shift where they are experiencing a different race has bad or problematic intentions. Someone may genuinely just want to experience what it is like going through life as an another race. Shifting is about experience. Thats why we shift in the first place. Someone may wish to genuinely experience being a different race and understand their struggles or have a deeper understanding of their culture.

And yes you can script your unique self in, but what about someone who’s shifting to a reality where they are a different race and there’s still racism? Race does determine how you are treated in this reality.

If someone shifts to a historical era, for example 1920s New Orleans and don’t script out racism, and let’s say they script their adopted by a black couple so as to not race change but still experience the culture, they will be treated differently and not have the same experience as the black people living in New Orleans have which takes away from the raw experience that they wished to have. Many POC who are race changing antis don’t realize that their argument of “this is uncreative race changers who shift to fit in can’t be their unique selves” are actively contradicting their own narrative.

Because some claim that you can still have the full experience of another culture being another race and make yourself fit in there, but then also turn and say that you cannot fully understand being another culture and race, because they are literally saying that you can fully experience a culture being another race, but also you can never truly understand the sufferings of another race even when you race change.

That is a contradiction. Someone have the full experience of another culture being a different race, but they can’t when they shift to be that race? The logic is biased and contradictory.

Someone who shifts to be a different race especially in historical eras often wants the raw experience including having a similar appearance to the majority race. Call it uncreative but that’s a raw experience someone wishes to have and shouldn’t be denied.

People conveniently enjoy forgetting how shifting works regarding this argument. Someone who shifts to a reality where they are a different race will have the mindset of someone of that cultural group because they have already spent their lives being that race.

People shift to be as different races because they wish to experience different experiences. People shouldn’t be denied nor shamed on for wishing to have a different experience. Thats all it is. Wanting to have a different experience. There’s so much beauty in the multiverse and so many experiences people wish to have.

I understand antis. But I think those who shame POC who don’t agree with their views on race and shifters being different races is problematic. We POC have our rights to disagree with POC antis and bring in arguments as to why we disagree and many of us have done so respectfully and still ended up being either attacked or just ignored, or treated like we hate our race just because we have different perspectives. And aren’t even truly willing to listen to us.

Again many centre the US view on race which is problematic because it actively ignores other viewpoints and treats the US viewpoints as the correct ones, which again many western American POC need to realize that American views on certain subjects are treated as more correct and valid than POCS from different countries views and POCS in those other countries with different views can often be relentlessly attacked by American POCs who believe their way is the only correct way. It ignores the views of POC in different countries and with different perspectives and cultures. Not every culture has the same view and idea about race as others.

Anyone can have bad intentions, but I don’t believe knives should be banned just because the person holding it is has intentions of using it to commit harm.

The people that criticize the existence of this blog need to realize that shiftblr doesn’t have to be some perfect place with no discourse. People should be able to share their viewpoints yes even their controversial ones as long as they aren’t actively being discriminatory and bigoted. People should be able to voice their opinions and critique aspects of the shifting community.

There should be room for discourse. There should be room for where people can express their viewpoints in an environment like this where they won’t be attacked. It would be much more worse if everyone knew everyone who was saying this and it turned into full on drama on Shiftblr. This is a better outlet for people to share what they think.

It’s not perfect but nothing is. If people come to this blog spreading negativity then that’s on them. Just because you don’t agree doesn’t mean that this blog shouldn’t exist as a space for people to share their own opinions and beliefs. And it will be much healthier than people staying silent and festering regarding their beliefs because this actually gives people opportunity to debate each other with less hard feelings because of the anonymity.

No one can know who you are to block or even go as far to as to dox you for saying your opinion. Having a place to let off steam and talk about your viewpoints will be far more healthier for the long run of shiftblr than public fights on mainstream shift blr, though we definitely could be careful with callout posts and posts that accuse others of certain things at random(just a warning to owner of the blog)

Hi, so I was a race-changer before which is controversial. But there is one thing that I must say to use my philosophical intelligence to go, race-changing is an ethical/moral dilemma meaning there is no right answer but you are required to, mainly the iconic Trolley problem. And, no, I don't believe I'm right & would just point it out, no I'm not up for debate.

Would you kill one person to save five people or kill five people and be ignorant about it? My past self chose to kill five people & be ignorant, I see a ton of "race changers dni" in people's account (which is highly reasonable) cause those people are the five people since they feel discriminated and uncomfortable for what race-changers do in their preferences of interaction. That they feel ignored cause of how much their history has been colonised, occupied, and erased for their entire heritage with the feeling of cultural appropriation. I used to say stuff like "Oh, I did research meaning it's okay" "I have actual good intent" and other ignorant stuff I said. Were those accounts reasonable? Yes and was i a bitch? Absolutely yes and I hate that. That feeling of being culturally insensitive on what my past self did (which is also a reason I took a mental health break since I was cancelled for a while), so maybe actually think of the people of this entire planet and don't use spiritual guides as an excuse. I once got an ask I'm paraphasing a lot on this post I made when my account was just made "how why it feels to be a race changer in shifting blah blah―I forgot most of my post since that was years ago" and that actual asks "Why only in race changing?" RCTA... I saw a post saying RCTA and race-changing are or aren't the same? Nvm, I forgot again but... Let me tell you, those reasons that you can race-change cause "there's a hundred universe where you're you but in another ethnicity" well you're still yourself in this universe whether the not the soul has a race & race is a construct. There is somewhere to tend to in the universe where you're yourself in the universe with the same race as you in this cr within the universe, "but you're out of your body" well that you in your dr is still you no matter what, your heritage is your heritage, your ethnicity is still yours, your body is your body. Kill those five people if you want.

Now, how about that one person? That one person answer is the one I chose now, they were a specific circle of race changers that actually have good intent (ik cause I met them) and they have the same defenses as I said before. You have no idea how many times I was ignorant to focus on the account rules when it's just words on a screen that could be easily paid attention or blocked (specifically blocked). But race changers at least get one thing right, there are other people of yourself but don't limit yourself to an extent... They absolutely are many versions of yourself that you have to push it. I saved those five people to actually lose some followers that are reasonable within their own morals, people may say "shifting has no morals" what about those cannibalistic murder trump's daughter dr... Now you wonder where the morals go with that one.
