Finally, a full illustration- went down a Wikipedia rabbit hole while working on this one and discovered something called “chicken hypnotism” (I figured angels were close enough.)

Here’s the full lineup of the four characters I worked on for the project! Garfiel was the only one I made from scratch, the other three are older designs I had laying around that got a major renovation.

Poses, expressions, and turnaround sheets for Garfiel the angel. Garf’s a really fun design to mess around with, and the turnaround was a good challenge! I’m sure I’ll be drawing her more in the future.

Some more work for my character design class- poses, expressions and turnaround sheets for Kei the Kitsune! He’s a bit clumsy and a major troublemaker but I love him anyway.

Another environment study, this time with a couple characters in there too! I rarely work with such a long canvas so it was a fun change of pace.

Dusting off the art blog to give it a full revamp, starting with an environment study! This was for a character design for animation class, where we focused on doing concept art for a theoretical TV show.
