Hello old friends - I have a favour to ask
Wow okay so hi, almost 2 years ago I posted a message saying ‘wow I have not been on tumblr for almost 2 years’ so wow again I have not been on tumblr for almost 2 years. (So sorry to any people I may have accidentally ignored by not being on here!!!!)
Tumblr used to be my life and wow a lot has changed through this time!! (I keep saying wow, lol oops)
But basically, I am back on here today to ask for some help! I am now studying for my Masters in Clinical Psychology (wow) and I’m currently in the process of completing my Masters dissertation. As part of this, I need participants for my research. It’s just an online study that you can complete in your own time and should take around 20 minutes. (If you participate, you can be entered into a prize draw to win one of two £25 Amazon vouchers)
I am investigating post-traumatic growth as a result of negative childhood experiences - particularly in relation to stress. To complete the study you must be over 18 years old and have some negative childhood experiences from adults. PLEASE DO NOT COMPLETE THE STUDY IF YOU FEEL YOU MAY BE TRIGGERED. This study has passed ethical approval from my University (more info on the study page) and all care has been made to look after the participants’ health. If you would like to know more about the study please go to the study webpage on: https://www.isurvey.soton.ac.uk/27227
(by clicking on the webpage, you are not obliged to complete the study - it will just take you to the first study information page) Or send me a message here on tumblr (don’t worry - I’ll remember to look at my inbox this time!)
I wouldn’t ask if I wasn’t desperate and I really need participants (but please only take part if you meet the requirements)
Note: I am advertising this study on different forms of social media as part of my recruitment process - please don’t think I am just targeting tumblr. Looking after people’s mental health is my most important goal (which is partly why I’m so invested in my topic, because yes post-traumatic GROWTH is possible)
