I promised my brother a while ago I would paint him the family homestead, lovingly called "the yellow house". With my crazy schedule, it took me over a year to complete it, but proud to say it is one of my favorite pieces yet. It's also given me a kickstart in my house portrait business and a new years resolution of mine; to do more of what I enjoy; painting for those I love. I so wish I could have seen my brothers face when dad gave it to him ☺️
