Day 1: A Spell to Remember
My idea behind this spell was engaging your senses to help you remember something/one you’ve forgot. Easily customizable!
Ingredients:
*Sage, sage incense, or other incense you have ties to (for wisdom [if sage] and scent)
*Twine (for feel)
*Pen (for sight)
*Paper (for sight)
*Peppermint, spearmint, or mint tea (for psychic/mental powers and taste)
*Sodalite (for focus and for the mind)
*Mantra below chanted aloud (for focus and hearing)
*Light the sage or incense you have chosen for your scent component.
*Loosely tie a length of twine around a finger on your left hand. This is for your touch component.
*Write what you are trying to remember, such as “where are my keys,” on a piece of paper and fold until it fits in the palm of your left hand. Set aside for your sight component.
*Place a mint, such as Altoids, in your mouth. If you can’t do that, then take a sip of mint tea. This is the taste component.
*Place folded paper in your left hand and put the sodalite on top. Close your hand and get comfortable. Repeat the mantra aloud for the hearing component while focusing on your intent:
What once was lost
Come back to me
An it harm none
So mote it be
