The Chihayafuru Middle School Arc is now being scanlated by Taichi Best Boy!

The Middle School Arc was an accompanying manga, also published on BeLOVE magazine, that tells the story of Chihaya, Taichi, Arata and Shinobu while in middle school. The manga is drawn by 遠田おと Tōda Oto and the characters are those from the original Chihayafuru story by Yuki Suetsugu but based of the Light Novel Series of Tokiumi Yui.

Chihayafuyu Episode 6 really has no business being this romantic (and it’s not supposed to be romantic) but god dammit all those pretty petal effects and “allow us this secret rendezvous” poetry on purpose! My heart is being played like the second fiddle Arata is and I’ve waited all three seasons for her to finally look at Taichi properly so I’ll take it!
