Dalton and I went to give Nichols Hills Plaza a look. We ate at Slapfish which has seafood cuisine. I got the Fish and Chips. Dalton got their Fried Shrimp Roll. The seafood had an delicious fried crisp coating, paired with their tartar sauce, it's just mmm! Guyutes was really cool place to check out. They serve gourmet food ranging from burritos, salads, and pizza. They got a outdoor patio with a great view and artwork. Dalton got "The Leftover Salmon" burrito, which tasted very fresh. I had the "Chimi-Choroo" burrito. The flank steak with the grilled onions just melted in my mouth. I loved it! We both had a side of their street corn which was pretty good. So good I made a mess of myself while eating it. Lastly Dalton had a beer while i tried their Irish Lemonade cocktail, had the right amount of sour and kick to it. I bought this outfit at Hope's Bella Vita. It a white romper with embroidered flowers on a veil like material. Its beautiful all around. As always I'm gonna try to share a local business that I tried at least every three days. Since I knew I had a long day ahead of me, I wanted to have nice breakfast. Dalton and I tried "Syrup." I had french toast with warm maple, topped with powdered sugar and strawberries. To drink a coco latte and Dalton had some chocolate milk. To eat, he got biscuit w/gravy and sausage bits. Overall the food tasted pretty amazing. Definitely eased my nervousness for the fashion show. We honestly didn't wait too long, the staff was friendly, and informative.
A close up on what my make up looked like during the IDS Spring Fashion Show. Big thanks to all who made this show possible and to Grace Lilley for her make up expertise. I was really nervous aince this was my first official runway, but proud to overcome so many hurdles to get to this point.
I'm always on the look for cool events happening in OKC. We went to a Streetcar Beer Crawl. Our first stop was at Elk Valley Brewing, then Fasslers, and lastly Vannessa House. Got to see more of downtown and as well meet with new people. Overall a fun experience. The outfit I'm wearing is all from Forever 21. The outfit overall probably cost me less than $20! Forever 21 always has great sales going on especially during summer. @ Elk Valley Brewing Co.
When it comes to fashion I always like to go for the soft beautiful type look. Which means using pastel, or very light colors. In one pictures I’m wearing a blue pastel dress from Forever 21 with a old flower headpiece of mine. It gives off a springy type of look, perfect for day out and about. In the other I’m wearing a white dress with a tan sham and a sun hat. A perfect look during those cool summer nights. I took this outfit out on sushi date night. We went to Sushi Neko, and order a literal boatload of sushi. A quote from a co-worker “I ate a disgusting amount of sushi,” but hey it was worth every single bite! So most people know I have eyelash extensions. I get them done by Tracy. Her company is called Lash Out Loud. She does amazing work and knows what she talking about when it comes to the health of your actually eyelashes. I been with her for little over a year now.
