Otto ……? You mean The Otto Tyler?????????.... AHHHH!!! I'M FREAKING OUT. I'm In the air. I'm jumping up and down. I LOVE OTTO!!!!!!!!!! he is so endearing to me. Ok. let's start. here are my Otto headcanons:
- I do think he wasn't this angry before. he was angry but he was also once a boy who was new to bullworth, excited to make friends and get good grades until he was bullied and fooled again and again by both students and teachers who had disappointed him by not caring about his efforts or grades (aren't they supposed to ?!). he grows older and learns that the only way to defend himself against this was to make himself look hostile and, as he says, 'hard'. but he spent too long letting himself be a victim that he doesn't get taken seriously at all. it all adds up to the point he lashes out like krazy this one time and gets expelled.
- I don't think Otto would have a good relationship with his parents. bc who would choose to be homeless than telling their parents that they got expelled!!! they'd barely care about him, and whenever Otto ever dares to come to them, they'd always end up fighting or lecturing him to be better. and Otto is annoyed because what is there to do better!!!!! he's spent his entire life obeying his parents so he doesn't get beat up!!!!! I think he experiences the same thing with the watcher in the asylum. he hates how easily he gets scared of older violent people. how much he just wants to impress them for once
- Otto has IED and so does his family (it's genetics u guys)
- I think Otto's anger comes from how alone and helpless he is. anger becomes some kind of coping mechanism (this is what he and Jimmy have in common) that he's become known to be the 'angry one'. he is angry but it's not his fault. but he doesn't deny this because he believes nothing can ever change people's minds because no one will truly understand him. so why does he have to even bother trying to change what he's been working on for so long anyway
- Well. there is someone who understands him somewhat. Clint aka Henry does. I hc them as bffs forevar. they're both mean and have foul mouths (Clint's quotes are unavailable in the wiki 😢) so who else but him that would understand Otto. they do all their mischievous missions together because they usually agree with each other. not always though. I think they'd sometimes get into fights (Physical ones!!!1!!2). but they get over it quickly.
- Otto has a lot of self hatred (he hates everything including HIMSELF!!!). why can't he control the things he do. why does it always have to lead into fucked up situations. I think he used to be the one beating people up and fighting them and for that, he thinks he somewhat deserves what happened to him in bullworth. he shouldn't be angry at that but why is he .
- Ahem anyways. Uhhh. Otto likes lotus ice cream #Awesome
- Otto is super crazy loyal when he's friends with someone, would beat people up for them and if anyone's against his friend, he would defend them till he DIES!!! unfortunately it is hard to get close to him. he's not as close to the other townies as he is to Clint but he'd defend them all nonetheless
- Otto really loves WWE. the only reason why he'd watch the TV is for WWE and he gets pissed whenever someone tries to watch something else
- for all of what it seems, he's actually pretty awkward. when he's trying to impress or be genuinely nice to someone he gets all stuttery and nervous
- Otto has a lot of respect for Edgar. he thinks it's extremely admirable to be still so ”””sane””” in a place as fucked up as Bullworth
- he loves tattoos. I think he'd offer to do the other townies' tattoos and it's a hit or miss everytime (you either get an infection or a really awesome tattoo)
