HEY GUYS! So like I always miss holidays here on AMR, but today I'm making an exception.
Yall're beautiful. JUS' BYOUDAFOL. I wasn't here from the very VERY start, but I understand- eeehh-- pretty close to it! I only ever found out about AMR and had any original interest in playing because of the friends who showed me this at the time. All of them joined, stayed for a bit, but eventually left, and I'd be lying if I said the thought hadn't crossed my mind to move on to something else jus' like they did.
But, as it turned out, I found a bunch of stinkin' COOL GUYS here, and it's just been impossible to quit, even whenever I have dry spells that have me idling time to time. Made so many new friends here, always have a blast when we all get super creative and write kickass stories and draw collaborative comics on it. You're all funny, clever, talented people, and today seems like a good day to just share the care about it.

Do you know anything about your maker? How is your relationship with them?
Uh… Aheh, afraid not actually. I was custom-ordered from a robotics company for both museum upkeep and attraction at Athena Historikos.
The company was named Hephaestus, just your run of the mill technology production outfit by any first-world country’s standards, but it’s one of— if not the only— Greek name in modern robotics since Light Labs revolutionized the technology with the first RMNs. In fact, I believe Hephaestus sourced their parts from Light Labs, since they don’t own any of their own huge facilities.
Pfh, kind of ironic, right? Hephaestus was the god of the forge, but the company “Hephaestus” only bought the working pieces. Oh well, to my knowledge I was the only actual RMN-grade robot to be assembled at Hephaestus! I feel a little proud of that. I must have cost a pretty penny…

"YEEE-EEEEOOOOWWW!!!" Taur wiggles back to life, clinging incoherently to Sunstar's leg as he glows in a moment of drooling, ecstatic overcharge. "γλυκό zeus γαμώτο!!!"
After another few seconds his energy levels stabilize and he realizes who's leg he's glomped his arms around, the rest of his body splayed prone on the ground. "... L-LORD SUNSTAR!"

The frequent power-outages in Monstropolis have the free-use robot charging stations out of commission... They're diverting any energy they can to other more vital city functions... street lights... buildings.. homes... Just in time for my dry battery to be tipping low...

Err.. Not by conventional means. In fact, most robots can't, but my dimensional generators could allow me to shift a sort of "contact density" with the surface of the water and perhaps wade across a fabricated depth closer to the surface than the actual depth.
Otherwise I'd need to be fitted with floatation devices that support a steel horse.
