This @rugersofficial slide is an interesting story. About a month ago, a customer called us with an issue. He had sights installed from a “gunsmith” who used a vice to hold the slide. It put teeth marks deep into the coating. The customer used a flat file to get the damage fixed and we sandblasted the slide and Cerakoted it. Just a clean FDE @glockinc 34 slide. Our customer brought us this slide right after having it cerakote by another cerakote applicator. The thickness was wrong, it was patchy, and the pro work was terrible. We fixed it right up for him. With a certified applicator, all the worry goes away.
