i don't know how i feel about this piece, but i love allura so its fine. i will probably definitely redraw this eventually because it didn't live up to my expectations but i don't really have the skills to get what i wanted yet.

the perspective is totally weird and i don't like how her clothing came out. the sketch fought me really really hard and i just couldn't get it :/. i also like the concept of the background/allura being the convergence of the multiverse, but i'm not sure i like how it came out. oh well.

i'm battling my own brain in terms of doing real practice, learning forms, lighting, color, etc. quintessential adhd shit where i know i NEED to do it to improve therefore it's the last thing i can actually face doing. love it!

that being said, i LOVE how her face and hair came out. procreate gouache brush remains superior to me for making lovely soft looking skin. its what i use for all of my coloring pretty much!

and for my next trick,

last month i did finally watch the first two seasons of iwtv. i didn't know what to expect really, and i wasn't sure if i was going to like it, but you can't put assad zaman's face on my screen and expect me to not lock tf in on the most beautiful man in existence.

i had to draw him in my favorite outfit of his immediately. he was so pretty in this whole scene oml.

i do stand firmly that every man in the story should be shot with a gun. i hate them and they suck and they're awful awful awful but i'm still waiting impatiently for all of the new season to come out so i can see more images of my favorite insect on my computer screen. let him fuck that old man.

im watching hotel portofino to assuage my desire to look at assad + boy howdy do i love one dr anish sengupta he's so sweetie. beautiful beautiful man in his green suit huuuuuu. AND they gave him rocco fasano to kiss? that's an insane gay culture pull for me personally.

IM BACK IN THE FUCKING BUILDING AGAIN

yes my first post will in fact be klance. yes my account is currently klance themed because this is one of my favorite things i’ve drawn.

i rewatched voltron earlier this year and god. that show was so good and had so much potential and they squandered it and i will stay mad. i wish the writers had locked in and fulfilled their divine yaoi mission.

i also read ive turned my back (but the stars are beckoning still) by californianNostalgia the other day and i think it is a very beautiful post canon story that honors the whole team's love for allura so so well.

i want to draw more voltron art bc regardless of the fandom and regardless of how the writers fumbled the ball, this show was my comfort show while it was coming out and i genuinely still adore it so much.
