Glyph had been, well, bored. On top of that he needed to feed his organic half. Since he had been forgetting again.
Thinking of things he could do, he remembered something Cypress said about the casual broadcasts on the Tee-Vee.
So, he went to the only place he could think of that had both food and a Tee-Vee.
The Beach House and Temple.
Opening the door he walked to the fridge, grabbing what he assumed to be edible food and walked over to the Tee-Vee. Powering it on and just.. watching the first thing that started playing.
Which happened to be a romance movie.

*He walks down the stairs, pausing when he hears unfamiliar voices. He walks into the living room and squints at the broadcasting device*
What is the purpose of this broadcast...
“Human entertainment, I believe. But they are doing strange things.”
Weirder.. Weirder than normal. He vaguely motions to the Tee-Vee, as if silently asking Cerise to sit with him. To investigate together. They’re in the same situation. Both from Homeworld, but it’s possible that Cerise has been told of these strange things. Since he has possibly been here longer.
*He huffs*
Humans are always doing strange things...
*Despite this, he still sits next to him. He's absolutely dwarfed by Glyph lmao. He curls his wings around himself so they take up less space and tilts his head at the screen. What,,,,, were these humans doing?!*
Glyph is silently bouncing his legs. A habit he had, well, allowed himself to develop. As well as rocking a bit, but, he’s not going to do that in front of Cerise.
Well, for the movie.. there was dancing earlier. But now the humans are... Kissing.
Not that he really knows what that is.
He just knows that mouths and taste receptors are.. Not generally used for that.
*His nose scrunches up and he tilts his head*
Why are they....

Touching each other's taste receptors? That is not what they are for.... are they... exchanging food....?
“I.. do not know.. But they do not have food near them?”
Tilts his head slightly in the same direction Cerise tilted his head-.
Confused, but.. Damn now he’s curious. And sort of mumbles.
“Are they tasting each other? That seems.. strange..”
Wha....? Why would they want to do that? There's no purpose.... and it seems unsanitary. There must be some kind of functional purpose to it, right? They have done it.... quite a lot already....
“I am unaware of any functional purposes...”
It does seem rather unsanitary. Gems don’t do that... Do they? No. He would know if Gems do.
He’s never seen this before.
Honestly, he isn’t sure how to feel about it. It’s strange. Why would organics do this?
“Maybe it is.. pleasurable?”
That would have to be the only function at this point... Correct..?
I.... that makes sense.... but.... I just can't see how that's pleasurable.....
*He squints at the screen and tilts his head, leaning forward and studying their movements*
It seems simple to replicate......
“Simple to replicate?”
He looks at Cerise and slightly raises a brow in question. As if asking a question he hadn’t quite yet formed.
Thinking it over he focused on the other. Tilting his head slightly.
“Are you implying you would like to replicate it?”
Yes, I am trying to acclimate to this planet and it's cultures. So I am.... what is that earth phrase? "Expanding my horizons." So if this-

Glyph looks back at the screen. He should... Probably learn more Earth things too. As strange as this Earth ritual seems to be.
But if Cerise is willing to try it, then, well, maybe he should also try.
“If you would like, I will try it. I should also try to expand my knowledge on Earth and Earth Culture.”
*He glances at the screen, then back at Glyph*

*He considers for a moment, then smiles at them with a small nod*
