She raised her eyebrows, considering that possibility. Then she realized she’d lose her head if Eddie got away.

Suddenly she felt kind of bad for going off on Eddie. Sometimes her emotions made her get really stupid.

Considering her unpredictability, he’s lost for what to say in response that has no chance of getting his throat slit. Not that he would’ve invoked a genius vocabulary anyway, but...

He had to do something. Those big, sad eyes of hers were going to kill him.

Despite her small frame, her anger was enough to keep him pinned against the wall without touching him at all. She put her hands on her hips, staring daggers into his eyes.

Magenta angrily stomped down the halls. Her arms were folded over her chest and she was huffing and puffing. She didn’t know where she was headed but at the pace she was going, she’d be there soon.

The disaster is only narrowly averted, but as the source of the slamming footsteps rounds the corner, the young man manages to freeze and practically jump out of the way before running headlong right into her.

That probably would have been the death of him at the moment...

Of course, he does end up slamming his side against the wall, cringing and huffing a curse under his breath, while still trying to meet the furious woman’s eyes and give her a sympathetic-enough look. One that says ‘feel free to rant to me about your problems, but also, please don’t eat me?’
