CES Lab was at the Mid-Atlantic Marine Educators NC conference this weekend held at Ft. Caswell. Dr. Eulie and graduate student Alina Herron presented about the collaborative research project between CES and Ft. Caswell.

CES was at NC State in Raleigh, NC yesterday to participate in a panel discussion about SLR. We had a great time and enjoyed meeting the students and faculty that attended. We even got to see some UNCW-EVS and CES Lab alumni!

What a beautiful view! CES Lab was out at Pivers Island for the day. A huge thanks to Carolyn Currin of the NOAA lab for speaking with us about the living shoreline there, and letting us collect some data for our Sea Grant project!

CES LAB was also out at Brunswick Town/Fort Anderson to collect sediment samples, conduct RTK surveys, vegetation surveys, and deploy a wave sensor! CES Lab had a busy Saturday! Students from three different graduate programs worked together to get the work done. Day 2: CES Lab and Gittman Lab at Carolina Beach State Park

Day 1 of field work this week! The Gittman and Eulie labs combined efforts at Morris Landing to collect data in the marsh and sill structures.
