Dispatch OC: Fade!!

my son fade and his symbiote known as kraken! having had kraken since he was a kid, fade never really knew a normal life, so he became obsessed with living vicariously through anyone he deemed interesting (typically strangers), to the point of studying everything about their lifestyle and following them wherever they went, sometimes to their homes. any destructive charges on his record are thanks to kraken's intervention, which fade has since (mostly) gotten a handle on. his compulsions have also died down since joining the phoenix program.

some basic explanations of his "powers" as if he were ingame!

adapt (start): supports one hero in an adjacent slot, using his intellect in place of their lowest stat (split evenly if tied, rounding up).

clingy (school): follows his most recently supported hero to a call regardless of available slots or if fade is resting, and supports them again.

needy (school): sacrifices "adapt." for the shift, fade borrows one point from the highest stat of up to two heroes sent alongside him to distribute for himself in the hero database.

JJK OC: Naoaki Zen'in!!

the second of my naoya's-brothers ocs, naoaki!

his design is inspired by the yokai hakuzosu. his shikigami (affectionately named gin) is also supposed to reflect that

his ct revolves around illusions, shapeshifting, and foxfire that he primarily channels through a cursed tool. the effect of his domain allows gin to possess those caught in it, obviously limited to one person at a time

outside of being a sorcerer he's a monk/priest and tends to a shrine he built with the help of chojuro

Got inspired by all the lovely Silent Hill f promo art with the floral imagery on Hinako. I considered making this much more intensely body horror themed, but I ultimately decided that I wanted something more gentle. Hand painting flowers is not for the weak. Even if I didn't hand paint all of them.

i was gonna just quickly design naoya's brothers for future comics, but i ended up spending way too much time on this guy

he's gonna maybe be the commander of the akashi unit? his ct is kinda like acupuncture...and he loves his little bro (he's still waiting for the avoidant younger sibling phase to end)

i wanted to make someone who was kinda content not being super strong despite being a zen'in. the type of guy that naoya thinks "wow, that's pathetic. i will never be like him."
