Velvet and Armor

The delicate, paper-thin white petals of a wild rose serve as a landing pad for a creature built like a tiny tank. The Oxythyrea funesta, or white-spotted rose beetle, is covered in micro-hairs that act as magnets for golden pollen. Through the glass of a 100mm macro lens, this casual encounter becomes a striking visual dialogue between the soft fragility of flora and the metallic, patterned hardness of insect life.

Hello Dear friends, may I present a new take on a previous sculpture called The Egyptian Pharaoh . Sometimes I like to try different colour tones as some colours really bring out the very character of the project and heighten the overall look.

Hello dear friends, may I wish you a happy midweek in this first week of January, I hope the new year has begun well for you, I send best wishes to you for 2026 .

I thought I would kick the new year off with a lovely little creative moment I had with one of my sculptures called The Shy Peasant Boy.

This is the hue blue toned close up portrait shot of my sculpture called The Shy Peasant Boy. I have created some lovely little faces over time and this one certainly had a very adorable look about it.

I think the blue tone heightens the personality of this little fella and makes for a lovely charming picture, this was originally modelled in water based clay.
