i remembered i was working on this animatic last year that i'm never gonna finish now, so i decided to upload what i have

i love love love how you write!! it's probably a really weird compliment that i don't fully know how to phrase but the way you structure sentences and paragraphs and how you write dialogue,, !!!!!!

i love reading the things you put out even if i don't fully understand the source material because the way you write makes me so interested regardless

people kinda forget now but cdream had so many ties to every “supernatural” phenomena on the dream smp people used to make venn diagrams and corkboards with red string. the revive book being the obvious but XD is intimately connected to c!dream, and XD is connected to the end, george’s dreams, the Egg. no one even remembers dreamons anymore

I ACTUALLY THINK THAT C!DREAM BEING A MAGICAL ENTITY IS NOT THAT FAR FETCHED AT ALL. But maybe marrying thar supernatural idea with the very grounded and somber use of magic in scream eureka was a little difficult who knows. He couldnt be loud, or take up space, or do something that would scare sam. He had to be quiet, methodical, inoffensive. And sam still thought it was weird

I wanted to ask why dream practices magic in scream eureka? I never really got the vibe from the character so i wondered what happened to make him that way

It was extrapolated from dreams interest in the revive book, his reliance on that power during prison, and how i thought it would naturally progress when he was confined in a long term hopeless situation so similar to pandora. Magic is real, able to be studied, and gods are real, and able to be bargained with, appeased, and argued with. It's all he can do now

Hoodie is a good crutch to lean on while you figure out what else you wanna do. God help me i know i never had a design for purpled other than kid in a hoodie but i think that actually works

I really like the visual dichotomy of dream sort of feeling bolted into his clothes/armor, like its something he cant get out of easily at all. Its all very purposefully put on in a display of power or some kind of ritual dream does to make himself feel safe. Whereas george has clothes that hang off his body and sort of swims in it. It obscures him and that obscurity keeps him safe as much as dreams armor does for him-- despite how george is the more outwardly explosive and chaotic of the two

I really enjoy a good king george design obviously but it never fully clicked with me because i just cant imagine george taking himself seriously enough to want to get into a getup like that. I thought the opulence and care for detail should go toward dream, who ironically would basically be put in a hoodie and pants. George shouldnt look guarded, and dream shouldnt look vulnerable. This is my 2 cents
