Every negative review of GdT's Frankenstein:
Seems the guy famous for opulent visuals, a deep empathy for the monstrous, and disdain for patriarchal violence made a film that's visually opulent, with a purely sympathetic monster, where Victor Frankenstein's obsession with creating life is a destructive God-complex? I don't like this. Why is the creature pretty, he should be more evil. Del Toro just wanted to show off his sets and wardrobe, this too is bad. There are changes made to the story, clearly this movie can be enjoyed only by idiots who haven't read the novel. I have (I'm intellectual like that) so ig it just isn't for me 😌
there's no straight explanation for the way vox threatened to slit alastor's throat and then they both started giggling maniacally about it
The knights being raised to like semi noble status or at least just getting that paycheck and all collectively simultaneously without communicating just decide to spend like half of their money on Merlin and start showering him in gifts
Knock, knock ! ! !
sour apple studios what the FUCK
