Anyone who has had a past with self-harm will understand when the hard times and feelings come back. You slowly build a lingering itch to slice your skin. to make a mark, to see your blood. You think of a good time to do it, where you should be to do it, what part of your body... But then, you reflect. You doubt your capability, not that you don't have the erge or the courage but how you can't stop but reflect on the other side of yourself. The period of time after dropping out of high school

In school I had my friends to relate to, vent to and have a good time with. After a day at school, I'd have my family to converse about our days. I had my goals and a path I wanted to lead; pass year 12 with flying colours, get into uni and get a career I'd always wanted since I was just a little girl. I wanted to be a paramedic, to help people when they were in need. It may have been last year but a lot changes once you become a high school drop out. You loose all the friends you thought would be there for you, the family you thought would always be supportive of you and the respect of everyone I know. It's a hard time now. It's lonely, extremely lonely and stressful. The person I was only 5 months ago; happy, hopeful, lucky. That's all gone, instead I've been replaced with this person that is neglected and looked down upon and frankly. A person that wouldn't mind never waking up again.
