CHAELA hadnโt been able to do anything but go to work, auditions, and home the last couple of days and one of her close friends was getting sick of it. They felt like she had constantly flaked on her and the plans that they had, she didnโt think about the fact that she was trying to make a living all on her own while she had everything paid for. Was she jealous that her friend was still in good graces with her parents while she struggled? Of course. Was she going to let it come between their friendship? Not at all.ย
โIโm on the way, even though yoโ ass could come get me.โ She grumbled into the phone that was tucked in between her shoulder and ear as she whipped her car backwards out of her driveway. Not only did her car not have AC during a summer in California, she had leather seats. She knew that her friend JADAH had a brand new car and obviously AC so she couldโve scooped instead of her. There was a list of things that pissed CHAELA off but the top three were being hot, hungry, and being the only one who was putting in effort into things. JADAH leaned over to the side in her seat and stuck her neck out slightly as she picked up CHAELAโs purse. Taking her outfit off the hanger, she folded the clothes and slipped it into CHAELAโs bag. She made sure that the clothes were folded good enough that it wouldnโt be noticeable by anyone and she zipped the bag up before her friend came back out.ย
โUh, I ainโt see it, J.โ She pointed out before placing her hands on her hips. JADAH looked around her seat before patting her pockets, scoffing while she pulled the headphones out her pocket.ย โIโm stupid, letโs go, girl. I ainโt gettinโ that fit.โ She replied before she got up and handed her the bag.ย
For a second, CHAELA opened her mouth to say something but her stomach growled, informing her that she could save whatever she had to say for later.ย โAight, letโs go because Iโm hungry.โ She stated as she locked arms with her friend and made her way out of the womenโs section of the door to the exit. As soon as the woman made her way past the metal detectors, the alarms went off, causing her to scrunch up her face in confusion.ย โThe fuck..โ
โExcuse me, maโam. Iโm gonna have to search both of you.โ The security officers spoke to the girls before the separated the two of them for the search. The officers took the security wand and went over the both of them then stopped once the officer that was going over CHAELA and her belongings brought the beeping wand down to her purse. The sound of the wand going crazy caused CHAELA to huff in disbelief.ย โYou can check my purse, ainโt nothinโ in there.โ She insisted as she took the purse off her shoulder and gave it to him. She sat there with her arms folded over her chest as she awaited the officer to give her her purse back and let her go.ย
The officer cocked his eyebrow as he opened the purse and shifted through her stuff only to find a folded outfit with a bracelet and necklace inside of it, pulling it out to show her. The other officer shifted his interest from JADAH to CHAELA.ย โT-Thatโs not mine.โ CHAELA defended herself before she pointed her finger at JADAH.ย โThat was herโs, it mustโve fell in my bag or something.
