I grew up hearing from every single family member how Soviets used to sneer at them "why don't you go to Yisraeel" while barely bothering to hide the threats that followed. I'm so used to much, much worse that isnotreal isn't worth more than an eye roll.

And, in a way, it's what saddens me. Not the "isnotreal" itself, but the fact that it's the least evil thing I'm exposed to in any given hour.

I think what a lot of people fail to realize is that anyone can be antisemitic. As of right now, in the western popular consciousness antisemites are Charlottesville marchers and Nazis with red armbands. But in reality, antisemitism is far more widespread than just these fringe right wing groups.

Some antisemites wear MAGA hats and put the confederate flag in their front yards. Others might have an LGBTQ+ flag hanging on their balcony and put dozens of Bernie/AOC/West stickers on the back of their car. Antisemites are gay and straight, cis and trans, Black and white. They march at pro life rallies, and they march at BLM ones. They might go to church every week, or they might graffiti pentagrams all over the place.

They can be those you politically disagree with, those you hate, or they can be your best friend. Anyone can be antisemitic. If you see something, say something.
