The lack of electricity put a limit on the time phones alone could solve the issue of discerning the situation, with the environment in tatters and no confirmation on who could be located. The woman who manifested above the gaping pit had offered a possibility to reunite in the masses gathered to hear her message, but so far, not a trace.
In fact, it was she was found, as the soft voice which cried out her name cut through the murmur of teams forming and readily charting their courses. Hues that skirted through the other bodies clustered together honed in on the white mass perfect upon the shoulder of a familiar face.
“Fou!”
Not even escalation; she bolted from the spot towards him, elated to have been granted one of her most beloved so soon after the apparent summoning and instruction of what was to be expected of them. A smile greeted Kingu, also, in appreciation for his company with Fou, whose body she reached up to, gently stroking through his fur.
“Thank goodness. After that announcement, seeing anyone familiar is a huge relief. Are you both well?” But not to be rude; a fourth was with them, and towards she, a similar smile, albeit laced with some degree of bewilderment. “And you too, Ushiwakamaru? It’s nice to see you in good health”.
Though evidently, the woman wasn’t quite the Ushiwaka that Mashu knew; golden sheen in her eyes - an Alter, perhaps? Violet surveyed their gathering in a single spot, still mixing uncertainty and optimism. “The four of us… we are a team, correct? If no-one has any objections? We’re low on time, so this would be ideal to prevent losing further by reassigning”.

Locating a potential team had been a little easier than he initially expected, though that didn’t mean he was entirely willing to gleefully join hands with them. It had been the familiar presence of a certain beast inching closer, and a young woman–a servant– whose presence felt more like Ofiuco’s than a human’s. Her inquiry seems more a proposal, and thankfully she understands that the need for a team is only in response to a threat.
He shakes his head slightly, shifting to accommodate Fou only to be unceremoniously smacked by the creature’s tail. Kingu almost picks up the beast by the scruff of his neck, but Mashu’s appearance stills his hand. In fact, he nearly shies away when she reaches out to pet her dear friend, and with a another shift does he try to ease the transition from his shoulder to Mashu’s if Fou decides to move. “Well enough.”
“That’s wrong. This woman isn’t…” At least, she didn’t feel like the one he had encountered in Babylonia. There was a chance he was wrong, but he’d been in contact with that one for longer than other of the King’s servants. He sighs, shaking his head once more before regarding their small ragtag group. Two members of Chaldea and an unknown servant; it could be worse, he supposed. Still, he frowns. “It is in our best interest to call ourselves a team and get started, yes. I have no objections, though I believe we require a name first.”

The creature wasn’t anything she had seen before. If it wasn’t for his lack of action from him scaling him, she would have easily assumed him to be a wild animal native to the city.
It wouldn’t be long until the fourth of their group arrived. Another woman that she didn’t recognize, yet familiar with the other two. Which left her as the odd one out. Which was expected, however she was caught off guard when the new member tried to guess her name.
“I’m not Ushiwakamaru. I’m not sure if she is here right now. You can just call me Assassin for now.” Feeling the need to correct her now before they got too far along. “I don’t have any preference for a team name. I’ll be fine with whatever you come up with.”

Cath Palug was all too happy to hop from the Avenger’s shoulder onto Mashu, made all the more apparent from the lap he made around her neck, nuzzling all the while until he settled across her shoulders like a boa. He barely paid attention to the stranger’s words, but he could at least tell she indeed was not Ushiwakamaru: there were a few tale-tell signs as such, from his view.
“Fooooou…”
“Kyuukyu, kyuuu!!”
