Verse 1 — Dauntless Shield

“Dauntless Shield″ is the main “alternate” verse on this blog.

Following the events of Pokemon Shield, Ran took on the Gym Challenge in Galar. She tore through the Gyms undefeated, gaining mastery of Dynamax as she did. The same held true for the League tournament, and after an intense battle and eventual tearful victory over her twin sister Rin, she was ready to battle the Champion.

Then, Chairman Rose and his wacky plans (read: bullshit) happened. Ran rushed to help, eventually defeating the Chairman and makingher way to help Leon. He failed to catch the powerful Eternatus, so she stepped in, and after a long battle where she was assisted by the legendary Zacien and Zamazenta, she managed to safely secure Eternatus in a Heal Ball. Later on, after her victory over Leon, she earned the trust and respect of Zamazenta and caught the shield doggo as well.

At present, she’s wondering what to do next -- She had a few other dreams besides becoming an elite Trainer, so maybe she could pursue those?

Verse 0 — Default

“Verse 0″ is the default verse on this blog.

Ran is simply a Trainer travelling the Galar region, taking on the Gym Challenge. She’ll have at least four badges (depending on the thread), and all of her main Pokemon would be fully evolved.

“You know, I always thought that if this Pokemon Trainer thing didn’t work out, I could try becoming an idol or a model.”

“But look at me now! I’m a Trainer with a ton of powerful Pokemon at my side!”

“Though, I guess there’s no law stopping me from being a Trainer and an idol...”

"Raaaaaan!" Rin runs over to her sister and it looks like her head is bleeding?! "I got hit on the head by something hard!"

“Rin? Here, let me help you...” She moves to pull some bandages and disinfectant form her bag. Was she worried? Yes. Was she angry that someone probably threw something at her beloved sister? Abso-fucking-lutely. But her anger could wait. Now was the time for tending to hurt heads and possibly hurt feelings.
