Ce vin exprime les Charmes; d’un terroir, d’une prédominance de Meunier, d’une viticulture durable, d’une vinification respectueuse des vins et de l’humain, d’une famille passionnée.

L’assemblage est de 50% Meunier, 30% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay de la vendange 2008 et d’une solera. Fermentations avec levures indigènes. 6 ans sur lies. Extra Brut.

Disponible à la vente au vignoble dès cette semaine.

Nous sommes aussi ravis de vous annoncer que le premier établissement ayant ce vin à la carte est le Domaine Les Crayères à Reims.

Brand new release : Les Charmes de Vrigny.

This wine expresses the Charms of a terroir, a predominance of Meunier, a environmentally friendly winegrowing and a consciousness of our wines and of humanity through our winemaking, and a passionate family.

The blend is 50% Meunier, 30% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay from the harvest 2008 and a solera. Fermentations with indigenous yeast. 6 years on the lees. Extra-Brut.

Available at the winery starting this week.  We are pleased to anounce that the first restaurant placement for this wine is Domaine Les Crayeres in Reims.

A Better Way to Celebrate Mother’s Day

Is there a better way to Celebrate Mother’s Day than by drinking Champagne and meeting Clémence Lelarge from Lelarge-Pugeot?

Clémence’s family acquired its first vineyards in 1799. They’re in the Premier Cru village of Vrigny. Pinot Meunier represents 60% of their total plantings; the remainder is Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Clémence’s parents manage the winery. In 1985, her father began to practice organic and biodynamic farming. He uses a pair of horses, Ursulle and Samba, to plow, which prevents soil compaction. Lelarge-Pugeot gained organic certification in 2010.

Alice Feiring recently raved in her newsletter, The Feiring Line, about Lelarge-Pugeot’s Les Meuniers de Clémence saying it’s “the kind of Champagne that keeps you reaching for the next glass.” Come check it out along with Lelarge-Pugeot’s Brut Tradition and Brut Rosé.
